Dude.. the higher you get the more toxic people will actually be.
Even (L)CS players flamed the shit out of you before Lyte introduced the new system (pre 2015).

Also, I don't flame anymore because it's too risky. Flaming someone isn't worth to get your account (perma) banned. Yet I don't really care if people do, I'm not that sensitive if people tell me I'm bad, should kill myself or get cancer. Who gives a damn about a bunch of keyboard heroes. People are so easily offended nowadays.

I'm not really into receiving one of the new punishments so I keep my mouth shut in game, doesn't mean I can't shit talk them outside of League :')
All these Diamond players with 1k+ games are only diamond because they played a retarded amount of games, not because they're good or they deserve it.
