[Offline] Good single player games?

I'm due to go on a 5 hour drive to London soon and I'm planning on taking my laptop to provide some entertainment for the road journey, with that being said can anyone recommend any decent offline single player games, hopefully I can find a torrent for them aswell!

-I've tried downloading The Settlers IV (4) such an epic game however it's not compatible with Windows 8.1

I suggest you to find platform games like "Super Meat Boy" (Which is fcking epic and hard) so you don't need to use a mouse/touchpad.
