While FGunZ isn't exactly complicated to navigate for people who have already played GunZ in the past, I don't think it's as easy for the newer and younger players in 2024 who are more used to modern games. Proof of this is how some training rooms are inundated by questions like “how do I equip the gun I bought” and things like that.
As such I decided to make this thread explaining things that someone who literally downloaded the game blindly might want to know. This isn’t a comprehensive explanation of FGunZ, but instead a quick rundown of most questions I’ve seen asked in Training Rooms. Players will eventually figure things out for themselves or by talking to other players, but a new player starting from absolute 0 may find this helpful to get started.
My very first tip is to join the Official FGunZ Discord Server where you can engage with the community and ask questions that aren't covered in this thread.

Where to download the gameSpoiler!Go to fgunz.net and press the “DOWNLOAD” button on the top left corner next to “HOME” and below the “FreestyleGUNZ” logo.
Click any link when you see the installers. Anything under the “Client-installer” installs the game in your system, anything under “Client-portable” puts the game in a single folder where you can copy and paste the whole game. It really doesn’t matter which one you choose. Only Windows is supported, so playing with a Mac or a Linux might take extra steps which I know nothing about but Google knows a lot about.
Install the game and open the launcher, let it update if necessary and click “Start Game”.

How to make an accountSpoiler!Go to fgunz.net then click the red “Register” button on the top right corner. Fill-up all the necessary information and use the login credentials you put in there when you see the login screen of the game. Try to use a legitimate e-mail since this is what the admins use for account recoveries.
Take note that your freestylersworld.com account is not your game account, it's a separate account for this forum. However, you can (and should) link your game account with your forum account by going to your fgunz.net Dashboard and clicking the "Verify Account" button, which is shown here:

Character Creation and the Character Selection ScreenSpoiler! When you first login, you have to make a character. The button for it is on the lower left corner.
What you input for Name is the only important part here since you have to spend coins to change it. Sex, Hair, and Face can be changed freely after making your character. Note that there are really slight differences with Male and Female, so most kstylers prefer Female while most dstylers, gladiators, and skillmappers prefer Male. For the most part it doesn't really matter, but if you're still not sure just choose Female.
What you choose for “Weapons” do not matter since you can buy any weapon and equip them in-game. Use Axium Gun Knight to have the standard build with shotguns.
You can make up to four characters in your account, and this is true for everyone. You can’t pay to have more than four characters.
Once you’ve made your character, you can edit it with the “Edit” button on the lower right corner, next to “Logout”. You can also delete characters with the “Delete” button on the lower left corner, next to “Create.”
Once you’re satisfied, press “Select Character” to start playing.

After Character CreationSpoiler! What you see is the Main Channel. Since there aren’t really any tooltips for anything you see here, I made a graphic labeling everything. Open image through this link if it gets cutoff by the forums: https://i.imgur.com/6m7lUMO.png
Legend:
- Store – This is the Bounty Shop where you can spend your Bounty Points (BP) and get guns, armor, equipment, etc.
- Inventory – This is where your items go.
- Channels – This is where you can switch between Main Channel, Event Channel, Duel Tournament, and Clan Channel.
- Settings – This is where you can change your settings.
- Logout – Logout.
- Gamerooms – This is where you can see the active rooms. You can join rooms by double clicking or selecting a room and clicking the “Join” button on the middle of the screen.
- Game mode – More on this on the next topic, but this is what the game mode selected by the room maker selected for the room.
- Room Name – This is what the room maker named the room.
- Room Modifiers – When making a room, FGunZ allows you to modify things for that room. Typical codes here are GOD where you can’t die in training rooms (except to /bomb), EX where explosives don’t work, AD or ammo drop where every death drops ammunition, and V or vanilla where HP and AP are capped at 140/120 regardless of what armor you equip.
- Map – This is the map the room maker chose for the room.
- Join – Click this if you have a room selected that you want to join. A useless button since everyone just double clicks a room to join.
- Quick Join – Lets you join the first available room you can join.
- Make Room – When you want to make a room.
- Gameroom Pages – When you want to sift through all the rooms made in that channel. If you’ve reached 6 and there are still more rooms, you can click the arrow pointing to the right.
- Account Details – This is where you see your character details.
- Replays – This is where you can view the replays you’ve recorded with F11 or replays of others you’ve put in your replay folder in Documents > Freestyle Gunz > Replay.
- Messages – This is where you can access messages left for you while you were online, or just messages sent to you in general.
- Character List – Lets you go back to your character selection page.
- Lobby Chat – This is where people in the lobby chat. You can also see announcements here like when someone has made a 10 killstreak in a Duel room, a clan has won consecutively in clan war, event announcements from the Event Team, etc. Type /help for commands you can use.
- Active users, friends list, Clan Members Online – This is where you can find users. Clicking the top row where “Lobby \ Friends \ Clan” is located lets you cycle through.

Game modeSpoiler! This is what the gamemode of the room was selected by the room maker. A triangle in the bottom right of the icon means the game is ongoing. If there’s no triangle, the game hasn’t been started. The following are the names of the most common gamemodes in FGunZ.
- Training Room – Where you want to practice because kills and deaths don’t count in this room.
- Deathmatch – A free-for-all where everyone is your enemy. Kills and deaths affect XP and K/D ratio.
- Team Deathmatch – Deathmatch but you’re in a team.
- Duel – Only two players play at a time on a 1v1 match. Other players in the room wait in a queue for their turn to play where they can spectate the current players.
- Gladiator – You can only equip swords in this gamemode.
- Quest – Maximum of 4 people, everyone in a room is on the same team where you all kill NPCs.
- Private Room – Not really a gamemode, but these rooms have passwords that you must know and input before you can join them.
- Turbo – FGunZ only gamemode. It’s like Deathmatch, but the damage of guns is much higher and you instantly respawn when you die.

Bounty Shop and InventorySpoiler! The bounty shop (or “Store” as I labeled it in the graphic above) is where you can spend Bounty Points and purchase guns, clothes, special items, etc. Some items have level requirements, others don’t. This is also where you sell items that you already bought. You can also purchase a "Premium Item Box" for 50,000 Bounty Points through the Bounty Shop which lets you win a random Donation/Premium Item which will last for 7 days.
The Inventory is where everything you have can be seen and equipped. “Storage” is for all your characters in the same account where they can share items, but this is only applicable for donation/legendary items.
In FGunZ, when equipping clothes, you can choose to place them in your armor column or your cosmetic column.
Clothes that you want to affect your stats (like additional HP and AP) are equipped in the "Armor Column" (except for Avatars which are purely cosmetic). Clothes that you want to use only for cosmetic purposes and act like "skins" are equipped in the "Cosmetic Column."
If there’s nothing in the Cosmetic Column, then the equipped clothing in the Armor Column shows up. If you put anything on the Cosmetic Column, that piece of clothing instead appears on your character BUT the stats of the Armor Column still apply regardless of what the stats of the clothes in the Cosmetic Column are.
There is a fringe case of Quest Damage Reduction Armor (QDR) where stats in the Cosmetic Column affect your character’s quest stats, but this is only relevant for quests.

Donation / Premium ItemsSpoiler! In FGunZ, you can buy donation items that have better stats than what you see in the Bounty Shop. You can also get items purely for cosmetic purposes that you also won’t see in the Bounty Shop. Everything here is accessed in https://fgunz.net/itemshop/donation.
You can also purchase a "Premium Item Box" for 50,000 Bounty Points through the Bounty Shop which lets you win a random Donation/Premium Item which will last for 7 days.

Getting CoinsSpoiler! There's a full guide to this in this post: https://freestylersworld.com/showthr...et-Rich-(Fast)
The fastest and most direct way of getting coins is by donating real money (you can donate by going to https://fgunz.net/itemshop/donation and clicking "buy coins").
However, FGunZ has a system where, based on your activity, you can earn coins without having to pay real money.
Full guide about Activity Points in this post: https://freestylersworld.com/showthr...-Box-every-day!
A quick rundown on Activity Points (AP): 1 AP gives you a free luckybox, 3 gives you a free cosmetic box, 7 gives you AP Shield, 10 gives you 100 coins!
Activity Points are earned by:
- Being online for 3 hours in a day, AND;
- Earning EXP (50,600 is enough which is finishing basic Mansion quest alone twice to be safe)
Doing both gives you 1 AP. You must do it each consecutive day to earn more AP, otherwise your AP resets to 0 if you have no AP Shield. If you do have AP Shield, that will instead get spent if you miss a day.
Days for earning AP are reset in Central European Standard Time (CET). This can be changed in the "Edit AP Zone" button in your Dashboard on fgunz.net if you want it to match, or be closer, to your own timezone. Full information on this is can be found in this update post.
“Recycling” Lucky Box or Cosmetic Box items also gives you some coins. You can do this by selecting an item in your Lucky Box/Cosmetic box and clicking the red "Recycle" button as shown here:
Being an official streamer gives you 50 coins every hour of streaming and being at the top of the rankings gives you 100 coins every week.
When reaching level 99, you can also “Rebirth” back to Level 5 and that gives you 100 coins. This can be accessed again through your dashboard.
Other players may also give you their coins, but it is against the rules to beg for coins from other players.

Donation ShopSpoiler!Accessed on https://fgunz.net/itemshop/donation
Items here are purchased through coins. These are items that generally have better stats than Bounty Shop items. However, some have equal stats as that of the level 99 Bounty Shop items, except there are no level restrictions. Everything you buy here appear in your “Storage” in the inventory. You can also buy a character name change, colors for your character name, VIP status, and other things. Check the shop out for yourself to know more.

Lucky BoxSpoiler!Accessed on https://fgunz.net/luckybox
For 20 coins, you can roll a Lucky Box and it randomly gives you a donation item/golden ticket. Donation items won here only last a number of days ranging from 5 days to 90 days.
You can also win a Golden Ticket here, which lets you exchange it for a Legendary Item (different from legendary weapons you get from quests). Legendary Items are the best weapons in FGunZ in terms of stats, or like the “Cat in the Hat,” gives you special status upgrades like more weight and more experience gained. When you claim a Golden Ticket, the Legendary Item gets automatically put into your Storage. Full information on this is in this update post.
When you win a prize, you can: redeem it, gift it to someone else, or recycle it. Redeeming it will put the item in your Storage in-game, gifting it will put it in the donee's Storage in-game, and recycling it gives you back coins depending on how many days the item lasts. Golden Tickets cannot be recycled.
A list of the Legendary Items with their stats can be seen by clicking the “[Info]” button next to “OPEN LUCKYBOX" as shown here:

Cosmetic BoxSpoiler!Accessed on https://fgunz.net/cosmeticbox
For 20 coins, you can roll a Cosmetic Box and it randomly gives you either a piece of clothing, a set of armor, or an avatar. Every piece of clothing and sets of armor give you the maximum armor status, which is more than what any Level 99 bounty shop armor you can buy. Avatars, on the other hand, are purely cosmetic and give no additional status points. This also applies to avatars from the Bounty Shop.
When you win a cosmetic prize, you can either redeem it, gift it to someone else, or recycle it. Redeeming it will put the item in your Storage in-game, gifting it will put it in the donee's Storage in-game, and recycling it gives you back 10 coins.
A list of all Cosmetic Box items can be seen by clicking the “ITEMS LIST” button next to “OPEN COSMETIC BOX” as shown here:

That’s all I can type out in one sitting; I’ll add more to this if there’s anything I can think of. Also, if there are any corrections or relevant things I should add, feel free to reply to this thread. Hope this helps someone at least.
