Thankfully they got smart and allowed gameplay for new players with a "pre-patched" version which is basically playable after just a portion is downloaded and installed. From there on it downloads the rest as you play-- as the rendering for others areas and such are not required.

they could've done that earlier QQ, didn't know... and there i was happy that it finished patching after a little over 4 hrs
