How to make privat server work?

Hey everyone,

I am new to playing private server and i was wondering if smeone can tell me how to make it work or send me a link to a previous post cause i hyave no idea how to make the client work. I have it downloaded already and i clicked gunz launcher but it no work. i got no clue what im doing......pleeeassseeee help :'(.
