So, I wanted to get back to Lord of the Rings: War in the North again, but whilst booting it up I get a black screen.
I tried;
CTRL+ALT+DEL < still does nothing (the menu won't even open, it remains black).
Re-install the game < does nothing.
ALT+TAB < does nothing, remains black.
Restart the computer seems to be the only way to get rid of the black screen.
I haven't tried;
Fix the resolution (I'm playing on an OK. flatscreen TV, and I have no idea on how to fix the resolution).
My current resolution is 1360x768 (60Hz).
However I have tried to fix the resolution of the TV already.. I have 3 options:
- 16 : 9 (Black screen)
- 4 : 3 (useless since it split the screen onto 3 seperate areas > [BLACK] [DESKTOP] [BLACK]
- VOL (Black screen)

PS: Not the game or any components are blacklisted on my anti-virus / firewall.
