this is a game you cant really finish, which is why its my ALL TIME favorite, and not only until i end it.

Single/Multiplayer: Both (Multiplayer might not work anymore since servers went down).
Co-op mode: Yes (Even in singleplayer you can have party members with you).

If you don't care for multiplayer (If it still even works) I'd recommend getting DesMuME (R5576, nightly build) to play the game with higher internal resolution and texture scaling/smoothing.
