Yes its normal, when I had my laptop I used it all the time and left it idle on my bed a lot. It was boiling hot and there were no problems for me oh, also I used to play GunZ as much if not more than you when I had that laptop so yeah, it being hot is no problem :D

If you notice lag that didn't occur before your components are getting too hot, i'd get that fan replaced as soon as possible if its a main fan, you should be alright though as most laptops will switch themselves off when they hit a certain temperature.Quote:
