With the introduction of SketchFab and p3d I wanted to start a little contest each week in order to spark creativity not only with our own developers, but with the whole community as well. In the future we will focus on many different types of mesh creation, including lighting, texturing, high poly, low poly, full scenes, etc, but for this week we wanted to keep it simple. Read the requirements below before you begin working and make sure you turn in your submission before September 20th at 8PM GMT. Everyone is encouraged to participate, as long as you can see this post, you are welcome to try and submit an entry.
Requirements

Theme: Low Poly Weapon; Open Theme*
Time: All entries must be posted by Friday, September 20th, 2013 at 8PM GMT
Acceptable Presentation Formats: Sketchfab and/or p3d
Other Requirements: Must have both Mesh and Texture presented
Texture Limitations: 512x512 map or smaller
Map Types: Diffuse, Specular, Opacity, and Normal
Everyone is encouraged to participate. Including staff members.

Who will decide the winner? The winner is decided by a point system totalling 100 points. There will be a community poll on Saturday, September 21st, 2013, depending on votes you can win a maximum of 50 points (all the votes) and 0 (none of the votes). The remaining 50 points will be decided by how well you executed the creation, this includes UV mapping, topology, texturing, etc.
Can I vote for myself? No member participating in the contest will be able to vote.
Do I have to make the texture myself? It is highly encouraged that you do the whole process yourself, but if not, make sure to credit the correct creators. You will also face a deduction by not doing the whole process yourself.
Will you participate? Of course, I already have a few ideas spinning in my head.
Do I have to do something GunZ related? No, actually I would say forget GunZ for the moment and just let creativity flow. If it works for a game, great, if not, great as well.
Can I just post screenshots? For the community to best decide who wins the contest we wish to use a similar platform for everyone, please use SketchFab or p3d.
How many entries can I have 1.
*Please note that these contests are not strictly for GunZ the Duel usage. If you wish your mesh to be something entirely different, go right ahead. The sky's the limit.

I'm not sure though, but the max faces is 2000. But he wants trigonal polygons, which means you either are allowed to have 2000 tri's, or 1000 tri's which is 2000 faces (usually~~~)
