also, not sure if i should post this in as a suggestion thread or not. since ammo drop from kills is a big thing now, can we make it so if your first item (which ammo automatically goes to if youre holding a sword) ammo's is full, itll go to the second item. this would make fast paced games easier.
also possibly make it so if you take certain ammo based on how much the enemy has left, if your weapon gets full by x amount then it will overflow to the second item. thisll make the tag more balanced and possibly cause less whining due to the removal of [r][ia]

Clothes in the shop should be the same across the board as free or cheap with 200 bp, 5k bounty for clothes that literally make no difference what so ever is not justifiable. I understand that you want to make bounty "important" but since clothes only have cosmetic differences then they should all be the same price.

Id rather clothes were free, so people are "free" to look their own style. High bounty on clothes only serves to waste our time with grinding.

Also. Whatever items the character select says you will get, is completely different than the equipment you get when you actually create the character. Probably due to shuffling around the XML.
There's certain clothes for 200 bp so characters that are low on bounty, such as Lvl 1 characters (5000 starting bounty), can change their basic appearance without having to farm 5000 or 25000 bounty first.
Yup, we're aware of that. Item/weapon names are wrong / missing at character creation. You're still getting correct clothes and lvl 1 starter weapons/items though.

I understand about that but im getting alot of MALE items which is annoying and most of them are just way better than for female.
Sure thing if the quest clothing doesent do anything anymore maybe just remove it and keep it weapons only since theres also gems now that improve damage etc.

Yes I know. Theres very few 200bp and then it skyrockets to 5k bp for the majority of the clothe shop for no reason. In Maiet's gunz every piece of armor was different and offered better protection but the v8's shop is all homogeneous so there's no rhyme or reason for the spike in the bounty.
When changing my look I buy maybe 5 pieces at a time for each armor piece in order to compare them for looks, and maybe some pieces don't go well with others when making your own "set". So its just a waste of bp for no benefit. I know v8's goal is to make bounty feel important again, but I dont like the concept applied to armor with no benefits.
Maybe you can make it a VIP only discount for the shop, but I really preferred it the way it was in v7 for everyone. I've had several friends complain about the change and they had to waste their time getting bp just to look how they already did before the inventory reset. It doesn't add any dynamics to how the game is played, it's just a way to force people to grind.

Keep resetting stuff and trying to "balance" things. You're doing a damn good job pissing players off. I spent hours playing CQ just for bounty, and it's all gone just like that. 1.3 million per CQ wasn't THAT bad. It certainly didn't warrant a reset. You could've just prevented it from happening in the future.
288 bounty per round in CQ Act 4? This is not balancing, this an ABSOLUTE JOKE. If you don't want people to buy gems with bounty anymore, don't even make them available.

We do listen to suggestions, but giving CQ players 1.3 million bounty per game compared to people getting a few 1000 in CW games or a few 1000 in regular games is extremely unfair. This was a bug in the code. It's very easy to tweak BP rates so it's distributed fairly between all game modes.

There. You said it yourself. How about looking at the situation the other way around? Why would you give out a few 1000 in CWs and regular games when even a level 99 dagger costs 90000 bounty? Quite imbalanced and unfair, don't you think?
I understand you'd want people to donate and hence buy more donor gems—but with the removal of a decent bounty reward, you have pretty much made it an impossible task for players to be able to craft level 4 or 5 bounty gems. Earning 20 to 30 million bounty would take ages, unless there's a new way that I'm unaware of.
I apologize for being rude in my previous comment, but a lot of things about this update has bothered me (and many, many more players). I lost 40 million bounty after this patch, after having spent so much time. I just wish you'd value the time we spend playing a video game, obtaining virtual items that have no real effect. Why do you really care so much now, with the player base at its lowest point? The attraction of private servers used to be the very fact that things were more relaxed. I am truly having a hard time understanding the purpose behind so many restrictions and "balances".

If you wanted 1.3 million bounty from 1 CQ so you can buy 26 gems every 5 minutes - Sorry, that's not how it was meant to be.
I'm not sure if you understand the purpose of bounty. You're not supposed to be able to buy the highest level dagger after doing one single CW. Bounty has to be earned. I understand you're not a fan of this bounty system but it was suggested by our players to give a meaning to this previously useless currency again.
You don't have to earn 20 to 30 million bounty, why would you? 20 million bounty that's 400 gems. Why would you need 400 gems? Upgrading a gem from Lvl 5 to 6 is high risk and high reward for those that can afford it. If you don't want to risk losing your gems - just don't upgrade them to the max. Same goes for weapons.
You didn't actually 'lose' bounty. 1 million bounty is still far more than you should've gotten from CQ. Also, you're still getting valuable PVE items as drops which you can either keep or sell for quick bounty.
The whole upgrade feature was added for players that have spent so much time on this game - they don't have anything else to do. Basically giving those that already have everything another reason to keep playing - another way to improve their character. You're not supposed to unlock everything within 1 week. Rather it should take a month or multiple months.

Quests are hardly playable now, e.g. for SQ you need to buy Humanities Textbook for 4000 bp. Even with all available boost up's you get only 600 bp for win. You win a Death Sword and sell it for 2375 bp, means you loose 1025 bp even if you win that quest. Nice kind of balancing.
CQuest farming for BP is one of the main problems that people stopped playing the server for. The first days of v8 all I saw was half of the rooms CQ farming. Bounty needs a significant overhaul to compete with CQ farming and it cant just be all CW too, because that leaves everyone else out to dry.
To give you an example I can get 30k BP in 30seconds for a solo Act 1 and rinse repeat, easy gems. BUT no one wants to grind and farm, it's a boring af way to "play" the game. The shop has forced people to farm or quit, because the upgrade donor weps and donor gems on the horizon will make it more pay to win. But right now its cq2win with grinding the roll of the dice for the upgrades.
Ex: I was playing in a TDM the other night and wanted to switch gun sets, in v7 this was effortless but in v8 I didnt have enough bp so guess what I had to do? farm cw for bp wasting my time with quest when all i wanted to do was get back to the TDM. I also get my inventory full of trash drops like lv1 armor repeatedly, or armor for another sex, or "legendary" armor that has no actual benefit. It added nothing but an annoyance to the experience.

I never argued about re-instating the same reward of 1.3 million. I have a problem with how we had to pay the price for it after having spent so much time, playing a game mode and earning rewards determined by you (the dev team). Besides, v8 has been out for around 2 weeks now (?), and looking at other posts, I'm sure at least one person on the dev team was aware of this imbalance. As a result, a heads up about bounty being reset would've saved us a lot of time and effort. We would've stopped playing it for the time being if we knew the bounty was going to be reset. It wouldn't have been hard to make a simple announcement to warn us about this.
Again, I'm not asking for the same kind of reward. But approximately 3000 to 5000 bounty per quest that takes around five and a half minutes if done the most efficient way with 4 players? Or Broken Golem offering 42 (yes, 42) bounty per round? Do you really think that's fair?
I understand its purpose and I'm also for the idea of it being useful in some manner, unlike in v7. But the point I'm making is that it is unnecessarily hard to earn enough bounty to be able to afford basic things from the bounty store. Heck, there aren't even enough players or variety of rooms for us to be able to earn some quick bounty. Looking at current trends, if there is no big room of a Mansion DM game, quest seems to be the only way—which it isn't anymore.
I've spent about 40-50 million on gems so far, and have managed only a few level 3 and 4 gems. Sure, bad luck. But you do see how it would be nearly impossible for someone to get decent gems, right? I'm not even talking about level 5s and 6s. After spending close to 50 million, I managed one gem of level 5. So with such bounty restrictions and on top of being able to afford weapons from the store, how do we really utilize the gems feature? What good is it if we can't even afford a decent set of level 3 gems? (Not to mention there are so many different types of them)
Yes, I did lose bounty. No, it isn't far more than I should've gotten, because I simply played the game and earned what it offered (regardless of you calling it a bug). I did not exploit any aspect of the game to earn that bounty. And again, selling those "valuable" PVE guns, which have an extremely low drop rate in CQs now (and pretty much only available via Golem), would fetch me somewhere between 6000 (common guns) to 40000 (for an epic gun). Not worth it, and it's still way, way, way too much effort to earn bounty.
Tell me how I can earn enough bounty to afford all weapons that match my level (99), and keep buying gems if the games like these are all we have. It gets better at times (one mansion DM room with 10-18 players), but it's more or less the same.
I see you're asking for a higher bounty rate (or dropped bounty prices). As Dave said we'll discuss this internally.
Right now it seems like some of you are trying to unlock everything within the first week. That's not how this gem, upgrade and bounty system was designed. This system adds long-term goals, quite different from what we had in V7. And there lies the rub.

To gamers who are only able to play on the weekends, this is not a motivation nor feasible.
If you wanted to make Bounty meaningful, it should have been molded into a useful resource like donors/event coins.
For example, 10MIL bounty = 5 donor coins.
Public shop items have no real reason for being bounty-driven in private servers.

Again one of my main issues with the bounty system is how it's designed to waste bounty and waste time, and it reminds me of mobile games philosophy of whales, it rubs me in a bad way.
- Gems cant fail on lv1 = 100k minimum bp wasted
- Bounty for clothes with no stat difference, 25k minimum wasted
- Gun upgrades are insignificant, 100-300k+ bounty wasted to buy each gun
It's funny to me how people that fight NPCs are actually complaining. Your 'world' is full of bugs and glitches. Someone showed me a bug in the first day where you were able to go behind a wall and kill goblins (cant remember the quest). You were getting 60,000BP from that. Please try to get 60k BP from TDM or Clan War. We did 5 quests in less that 15 minutes getting more than 150k BP. You were able to solo that quest through that bug.
You guys complaining about them taking away something you earned by somehow cheating. I hope u see how stupid this is.
Dunno why this update are so heavily focused on BP and why u guys implemented Gems in this game. I also dont find it unfair since the game is so much about Bounty how the competitive side of the game is getting so much less than the PVE side. I mean try to update your Gems through TDM,CW. It will take u months. You gotta think, whats harder to kill, an NPC or a person.
IMO you guys tried way too hard in this update when all you had to do is to make this game more simple. Again tho thank you for trying to keep this server alive, if you didnt care this server would be dead 2 years ago.
Oh hey, on the topic of wasted bounty...
I wanted to do some measuring with gems vs no gems, but it looks like the gems I was going to test are broken. OffenseDMG gems had no effect on melees or guns no matter what I used, I feel like the DMG gems were doing something in the first patches?, but I never actually tested it then either, so maybe it was always broken. Either way, now it's busted so guna need another patch.
Tested with Lv1 Lv2 and Lv3, all nothin, same 6dmg for lv1 renard.

You used the worst gun with least damage to test the damage gem..
A 2% damage increase on 6 dmg is too little for you to see the effects. That's 0.12 extra damage per bullet. HP/AP doesn't show decimals, that stuff is calculated behind the curtain. Unless you use 2 lvl 5 and lvl 6 gems and a weapon with higher damage you probably won't see it.
With lvl 1-3 gems your best bet are weapons such as revolvers and snipers to easily spot the damage increase.

gems are supposed to be special items that are hard to get. which means if you play for hours a day you can afford just a few gems and then again might not get what you want or fail the combination.
considering the stat bonuses on them arent that great, its your choice whether you wish to play quests for bounty or for the fun of it.
i cant run the v8 can anyone help me with this?

Ah okay, my mistake. So what youre telling me is that DMG Gems are a complete waste of time. I misread it as 1+ dmg but +1% damage is worthless.

Lv95 Pistols: 32 +2%, = still 32 damage
Lv95 [H] Pistol x2: 32 +2% = still 39 damage
Lv95 [L] Shotgun: 108 total +2% = 110 damage
or 9 dmg per pellet +2% = still 9 damage
Lv95 [S] Shotgun: 120 total +2% = 122 damage
or 10 dmg per pellet +2% = still 10 damage
Lv90 [H] Shotgun: 132 total +2% = 134 total damage
or 11 dmg per pellet +2% dmg = still 11 damage
Lv95 [H] Rifle: 21 +2% = still 21
Lv95 [H] Rifle x2: 25 +2% = still 25 damage

This is useless in every way conceivable, and once again, another prime example of completely wasting bounty for no benefit. If you have amazing luck, it's 400k minimum for 8 Lv1s -> 4 Lv2s -> 2 Lv3s
Granted I don't have 2x Lv4s I only have 1 and I'd rather test it in conjunction. But this is not how you make bounty feel like its "important" this is how you get players to realize they wasted their time playing on your server because the "long term goals" make an imperceivable differences, like with the gun upgrades. In order for you to even get the benefits guns that are only 50+ damage get boosted by 1 and guns that are only 100+ dmg get boosted by 2.
To top it off, the only thing DamageGEMs do is help skew it towards guns that were already OP, instead of giving a needed boost to lesser powered guns to change the meta, hell I'm sure questers would have appreciated if the DMG gems actually helped them but it's good for nothing because they don't meet the minimal damage requirement to get a boost.
Just an informational post. It does actually use floating point variables for hp/ap damage. So you can indeed do 15.4 dmg or whatever and a player's health and armor are in floating point too, so they take all 15.4 dmg however it gets split up by the piercing ratio actually bla bla bla. Not that it makes a huge difference, but it's good info to know.

I played for 3 hours last night, killed over 200 people got only 10k bp at the end of the night.
Spent 300k on another account trying to get gems to get a Lv2 DMG gem for comparison chart, cant remember the stat % (only got 1 DMG Lv1 gem after throwing bp away)
If you wanted to simulate what it feels like in Germany after WW2's inflation you succeeded.
Otherwise this bounty system has single handedly killed the server. I was against the 1mil bounty bug before, but now? At least I could play the ****ing game. This server is a cluster**** right now, and bounty needs be a set value based on kills 1k minimum for every kill no matter what mode youre in.
The only thing left standing untouched by this disastrous implementation of bounty is sword rooms because they always play on lv1 equipment. And even then it's not untainted by obviously stupid decisions like, 20dmg for kodachis which have a higher DPS rate delay than Katanas. I've been tolerant, but it's obvious who's doing the "balancing" doesnt have a clue.

For DMG Gems. I don't know the exact info for Lv5 and Lv6 gems, but I asked around for it, so this is a guess based on trends of the gem increase.

Agreed, no clue at all at least not from quests (including challenge quests).
Just to give a few examples: The bps for buying quest items are taken from ijji. Why? It never made sense that a Devil's Dictionary is worth 80000 bp and a High-class Gear only 800 bp, even not at ijji, where you had to play pages to earn boss items and to win bosses to get lvl 2 boss items (Goblin King's Skull, High-class gear, Enormously Huge Skull, Devil's Dictionary).
Another example the xp/bounty/items you get from bossfights. FGK provides 180k xp and pve-mgs, GK 175k xp and pve-revs. But GK has 50% more hp than fgk and revs are nearly useless at this server or show me how to win a cq 4 with (double)revs.
Another example is a quote like that:
