Personally I would not go for a whole army.
Just start with 1 dummy and work from there if you think there is need for more.

Sounds good to me, lol. I can see some fun event ideas and/or modes.
Instead of having to type movement commands manually (slot1>jump>200>attack>slot2>200>attack>slot1>5000), I have seen a server make a bot that simply (and conveniently) repeats the same moves of the player in a 'replay' manner. Guy presses a key, does some moves, presses another key to finish and the bot starts to repeat those exact moves the guy did.
very impressive work.. i like you
Oh cool. I found the official documentation for GunZ. Here is the HTML version.
Added army capabilities.
I'm thinking that each command would control all the bots. For example /bot turtle makes them all turtle. Or they would all copy your actions live with /bot copy maybe.
I'm at a natural stopping point, so I'm taking the time tonight to do some spring cleaning and make what I currently have more robust.
Here's something to tide you over.

Was trying to untangle some spaghetti and I found this gem. Seems to be some lost disabled code from Maiet. Freaky.

Just a heads up. I'm starting a packed class schedule, so this project is on low priority for a while.
I left off trying to figure out how to link the bots to the match server so they don't have that DC icon. Luckily, it seems everything I wanted to do at the beginning is already built into the base game. I just have to figure out how they work and rearrange some things.
Props to Amers for pointing me towards a reference.
I've seen this on ragezone. Good luck (: !
