A Building cant be Torn and Moved the way you Drew it.
Alym, at the torned buildings map I was thinking more of a war-torn town that has destroyed buildings because of a war or some sorts, like you know, holes in them and stuff.
I'll be glad helping you in the progress, by that I mean models and textures and some gameplay advice for the maps. I don't think you're making a level design document but if ya are i'll help you as well :)
For Bears idea, the idea is good and such, it looks pretty funny BUT... If you'd be using it for the new UDK again then it wouldn't be a problem, but for GunZ this is quite much impossible, why? Pay attention to the model in Mansion, that statue is mid / low poly, the rest of the map has a lot less detail in objects (in my opinion by walls and such) then the rest of the map, they use more textures where other map get more assets in them.
Now if you're making a map for GunZ you want people to load them quiet fast, in GTK radiant it wouldn't be a problem loading but due the engine and other things loading in gunz / downloading the folder will take longer and longer the bigger your maps are. In this map you'll have to add at least 8 statues? 1 statue could be around 1k poly's (max if I'd say), thats already 8K poly's, and then the rest isn't even finished yet, which is way to much for GunZ.
So the Idea is good but I'd say don't do it :)
