If I may intervene again, at least KEEP IA in games where there's no rounds (DM, TDMe, CTF, Gungame etc.).
I've stated my reasoning previously and I am assured people would agree.

it's not even a choice anymore, go in FG every room may as well be defaulted to [r][ia]. everyone wants it because it's easily abused. you don't even have to be somewhat decent, you can just spam shots all day long. it ruins the game honestly. we're not playing grand theft auto if there's no hacks allowed we shouldn't get any cheat codes for bad kids either.
& like dualage said, infinite ammo still promotes spamming in TDM's but in TDME/CTF you pretty much need it. (most of the CTF maps are played places where there are no ammo spawns). i think it would be better to just remove [r] from those types of games, not IA since once you're out of ammo you're ****ed. at least in lead gunz you had a chance with no ammo lol
Alright R/IA roomtag will not be changed in the next update, we'll think about what we can do about it to satisfy both ends.
On a side note, Linear and I tested the anti-lead and Linear fixed some bugs. Hopefully it will be 100% fixed in the next update.
No guarantee though.
As far as I'm concerned I will redirect you to my previous post where I state that nowhere no-one is making you join any of those games. Play with people you know & or regularly play with, make your room. But don't tell me you are "forced" to play with R. I mentioned myself and plenty of others make rooms without R. Look for them, and or make one :) Similar minds always end up finding each other!
Taking your own wish over the main stream of playing is purely selfish...
I think we all have some brainstorming to do for that one...Quote:

That sounds great! Looking forward to it!Quote:

no one is making you play those games? you pretty much have to, hardly anyone joins games with no mods rofl but w/e
you could make [r] only available in team training instead of team deathmatch. treat it like a legit cheat code, if you're gonna use it you don't get to gain experience/levels/kills. see if they prefer to play team training just for fun, or actually bother to go out and get skill & experience in a real game.
If I don't, why would you? I play plenty of games without R. If we please remain objective and constructive. Instead of "I don't like it so throw it away"
One of the later posts suggested that you limit the amount of rooms with & without R Infected etc.. I don't think that's the best way to do it HOWEVER, would it be realistic to create a different channel? In which players will have to choose between either playing with R or without? Seeing as most of the rooms are with R, the R channel will probably contain a lot more players. But the players that do enjoy playing without it could join the other channel where a clear layout of games without R will be grouped together. Eliminating the fuss to look over 6/7 pages for a room without R?
Just be honest about it, [R] is almost in every room. Yesterday there was only one TDM room without [R].
[R] ruins it kind of, takes the skills out of gunz. You requere aim, and you need to reload so you need to find cover.
Also, don't just think about shotguns [R] with snipers is just stupid that is overpowered as hell.
And players don't enjoy it, I don't enjoy it I know 30 other players who don't enjoy it.
The reason people use [R] is because they can't aim or use snipers/sprayers to lame.
If it were [R] in infection yeah, woudn't mind it's not like it's all skill there.
But if [R] would be removed, there would be more TDM rooms with more skilled people which would make it more fun.
accidentally deleted my last post -.- cba
------------------
Back to my previously mentioned idea of creating separate Channels:
Channel 1 : No Mods or limited mods allowed : Cap player limit 200
Channel 2 : R / IA / Other mods etc : Cap player limit 150.
Remember in older Gunz versions where you had to wait & camp the join button in order to join a channel? And sometimes you'd simply just go play because you couldn't be asked to wait?
If more people are put in the situation where they HAVE to play games without R because the channel is simply full at the moment, wouldn't that bring more people into trying/visiting/playing no R games?
Maybe they'll even realize they prefer it?
Fictional numbers used for Cap player.
i don't know what you don't understand, as long as R is an option those rooms are going to be more popular because you don't even need to be good at the game. everyone's just going to bitch because they wouldn't all fit in the channel that allows R rofl at least putting it in team training only gives people an ultimatum. play for nothing/fun with cheat codes (like you can't save your progress), or play for skill in regular games and get better level up get new items & all that. besides if R is only for fun, then what's wrong with training? that's the place where everyone goes to have fun right?
Alright I will bother. First of all I sincerely mind the terrible overflow of R games that at this point represent the big majority of the game. Now that this is clear.
Taking it away because you, me or any other MINORITY complains about it in any way isn't right.
Just because X Y or Z requires a different approach, game play, style doesn't mean it's NO SKILL. It's ridiculous to say otherwise.
You can complain all you want about snipers, rockets, grenades, R or ANYTHING. The fact is it's there. It requires a different approach IE stepping away from that grenade. It provides for a wider range of playing. QQ about it all you want.
It's always been like that, and it will always be about something you or I dislike.
"Everyone's just going to bitch because they wouldn't all fit" That's exactly the objective. Without taking it away they will require to TRY something else if they want to play. Seems like a more acceptable "ultimatum" to me.
I don't claim it to be the right idea nor do I even know if such thing is possible. I'm trying to come up with solutions isn't as drastic and that satisfies both ends.
Please understand it's not ALL about YOUR gaming needs.
