you should make a map where it's just one huge cube. the trip will be in the "wall paper" or textures. makes it so it looks like a whole bunch of characters are just hanging on walls everywhere with daggers and swords. this would be fun for hide and seek xD i can see GM's just spraying walls looking for people.

EPIC IDEA LMAO. =]

Do what TwisT said, except on two sides of the cube, make a little tunnel so people can run away from GM's, and then make a huge winding maze through those tunnels, then open the tunnel out into a big open space where people can skill the GM's. =] Or else GM's would just spray the walls and people would just die straight away.

Make a map where it's a ship in a bottle floating in the ocean and we spawn on the ship and we can go into the ship and climb outside of the bottle and when they fall out of the bottle, they fall into oblivion

An outdoor map would be nice, try to use good textures that tile well, and go for a 'Capital Wasteland' kinda look (for all of you Fallout 3 fans out there).

You could attempt to do Megaton, it is a walled city and would provide for an outdoor map that has natural borders, instead of an invisible wall. Also has alot of houses to post and hide on or around.

This would be cool as long as there would be proper requests. Really no use to something such as : make map with lots of spaces to hide. Explain in detail what you mean and why it would be cool or show a picture of something that would be cool to have as map.

Why not? If he didn't want his map concept to be used he wouldn't post it. He even posted in a way so that it is easy to understand for mappers.

I remember that one, it had those different routes from intermediate to advanced to expert etc. Shame that the expert one wasn't all that hard though. I might design a skillmap some time, but definitely not before the new client :)

I vote Jungle with obstacles, maybe huge parked rocks and stuff like that, ruins and destroyed buildings, not anything that detailed but abit like Jurassic Park meets I Am Legend.
