If you like a suggestion someone made you can hit the 'Thank you' button instead of replying to it (we will remove replies and we will punish people for it).
The Administrators and Developers are the only ones that shall reply on suggestions, mainly to tell if the suggestions are going to be accepted or if something is not possible to add.

Replies will be removed, can lead to an infraction if you decide to reply- and/or quote someone since we only try to collect suggestions here.
Any suggestions dealing with donations, gifts, or any way these two are used with the server are unwanted.
Begging for us to give you guys a lucky box every week or change items back into coins does not progress the server at all.
As such, any thread doing so will now be removed.

With this thread we try to make the community and the game better for you.

When I add files to my BGM for my own music, the music itself starts at the login screen, and everytime I go into the lobby -> in-game

1. Every 5 minutes whilst watching replays, I get the autoboot message and i get kicked off of a juicy replay. Waste of pop corn and soda

2. Make vote kicks replenish every 3 minutes, it gets annoying having to go make a new room to get rid of a troll

3. Make it so /ignore also works on chatinvites, it's annoying to not be able to see what others type, because some bonehead decided to /chatmake you_suck_so_bad_yinstyler /chatinvite yinstyle /chatinvite yinstyle /chatinvite yinstyle

4. Make infected more foggy, less red. My eyes see red everywhere after like 3 matches

5. Remove useless mods, they make the game lag anyway. Nobody uses [M] and RTD anyway.

6. Unlock mouse sensitivity in options. Some of us have to make changes on the config.xml and close/reopen gunz.

Forum Suggestions -- Credits to Anger & Dualage


Idea #1 - Addition of Forum Chatbox Colour Changing!


You should allow regular Members or even just VIP Members to be able to change their text colour on the chatbox, sort of an implement such as using the GunZ colour scheme, being able to use ^1 or ^3 or even adding a [ ] (box) colour tab to be able to change your text colour. Another reason to buy VIP, being able to mess around with different colours.


Idea #2 - My Profile Edits


Giving Members the accessibility to not have to click their Settings tab to change their Forum Username (of course only applicable to the desired usergroups that have permission to it) // Forum Usertitle. I think it would be neat if we could have a pencil icon (referring to be able to edit this certain feature) beside the Usertitle and the Username on our My Profile page.


Idea #3 - Friends List Removal & View Tabs


Giving Members the accessibility to not have to click their Member Friends username to remove, under the Settings tab. Would be neat if we could add a function where we could view our friends profile page or remove them by a click of a button instead of several clips. Adding the function to this page.

Raising the amount of EXP Gained in Clan War by 200~300%.

Currently the server does have a little bit more EXP, but I feel that can be increased significantly to inspire more Clan War.
Generally a user will only get about 2-6 kills in a clan war on average, and it's very stop and go, thus I don't think it will imbalance the EXP gain, but make it more rewarding to clan war and to get kills and so on.
I'd personally clan war with increased EXP and wanted to see others thoughts on this idea.

Remove mummy avatar pls. Everyone knows people only use mummy avatar to look more skinny and make them harder to aim. It doesn't even look that good and i doubt anyone actually wears it for the looks. I always see people complain about mummy avatar being skinny so get rid of it pls.

How about a bigger replay menu in-game.
Like, where they are categorised, the ability to sort by date, and game mode etc.
I know it's readable in the name of the replay, but I think it would be amazing if its all nice and categorised in a nice fullscreen menu.

False. We use [RTD] and [M] for events. Very useful tag that we use on a daily basis. Whether or not you guys use it for yourselves, I don't think ANY tags should be removed.

id imagine if we has the ability to gift event points other than in the event itself, players will have the ability to gift others in player events and if someone has 13 event points and he wants to give someone the coins and he cant cause its not an even number, the person can gift him 1 point and then he'll have an even number.

I have had two ideas stuck in my head for the last week(s),
which might be fun to experiment with.

1:

Borderlands type-ish guns. What I mean by this is that you can apply mods to your guns that add for instance elemental effect chance but decrease the damage a bit (this at least with the snipers to avoid 1-hit kills as much as possible).

Let's say you have a sniper and equip a Firemod to it
Instead of the 140 damage You'll have 126 damage (-10%) but u gain a 10% chance to ignite people on fire which will last for like 3-5 seconds and might do somewhere around 10dmg/s(?)

The shotgun (and most other guns) for instance wouldn't lose damage but would have less chance of ingiting people on fire cause... well.. when do you actually miss with shotguns? so like a 5% chance of igniting people on fire for the same damage/s as the sniper

All elements could be used to this. Imagine shooting someone and he suddenly turns slower or shocked..? Of course these might be a little overpowered the way I wrote them down but everything can be balanced somehow.





2:

Give clan leaders the ability to write a notification in game which is send to clan members who log in this way if the clan leader wants to say something to his whole clan he can do this by just broadcasting a message once they log in instead of waiting for every member to come online etc.

In-game emoticons (for lobby, clan chat, @ chat, and whispers only. Not for when you're in a room). Same ones that we use on the forums.

So many moments when ":o.o" is applicable in the lobby chat :( :o.o

-Make ranked 1v1
-New GOOD maps
-Custom SG Colors/Skins
-Custom Clothes
-Make a lvl 99 9 dmg 850 delay SG (or even lower lvl)
-Last donors were super ugly tbh :/ (super small sword...???)
-Put the avatar patch back (we had it for only 1 day then no news..)
-Let us zoom out
-Let us change dash colors
-Remove the power hungry admins/gm(most of them tbh)
-Stop banning ppl for no reason(saying 3 time the same things etc.)
-Make a better /ignore function instead of muting half the server for no reason
-Make a better interface when creating rooms for the tags
-Let everyone do events
-Tags for pings would be great also

I can't say new Game Moderator command but more likely modified.
/admin_mute <length> <username> is the original command to mute a specific player in-game.

My suggestion;
Modify it to /admin_mute <length> | <username> | <reason>
Whenever someone is spamming or breaking the rules, the Game Moderators can just use the command to mute the player for instance;
/admin_mute 5m (yes, minutes, not hours - you should also add minutes option for the command) | iLikeSpamming | Constantly spamming lobby chat.

So whenever one of the GM's use the command, on the other side of the computer, in our case is the user "iLikeSpamming" - should pop up a green message telling him for example;
"Your chat has been blocked for 5 minutes - <here the reason should show, the one the Game Moderator entered as a reason and in our case that would be> constantly spamming lobby chat."

Much more reliable instead of going to the Administrator Panel to mute the player and disconnect him so the mute can apply on his account.

Since ownages got nerfed, I'd suggest Predators get nerfed too as they are way above damage compared to other rocketlaunchers and their delay is way below that of a rocket launcher (in my oppinion way worse then any ownage we ever had).

Make a better kick system. Maybe when someone gets kicked, kick them from their whole account.
Comes in handy with events, or other important things.
So they don't keep coming on an alt to keep disturbing.
I know we have GM's and all to just warn them, but come on. '-'

For the New Questing thing, can the Room leader get all the items, it's annoying to ask "Who got the item" and having to rejoin the room to sacrifice.

How about a rare drop from a difficult boss that can increase the items slot by 1 in quest mode only.

For example a "hat of luck" that can increase your item slot by 1 so you can have 2 ammo packs and 1 hp pack. Of course it'd work in quest mode only and should be like an iLevel 30 drop.

Also, could the NPCs have a chance to drop an item? Maybe around 2.5% - 5% depending on the level.

Donation sets/avatars that actually look good. Similar to back in Ijji, people were willing to pay for clothes partly for the aesthetic appeal and to look different from other people.

Make a new Quest Page so stuff are more challenging for instants page 81 more NPC and more rounds for each map.

What about linking the ingame chatroom with the chatbox in the forum (or a new tab inside it) or an IRC channel that people can use when they dont want to be ingame.

Look into that.

- Separate Swords/Daggers into their own boss quests. One boss = Katana/Lsword Another boss = Dagger/Long dagger(remove speedy)

- Remove the chance of a boss dropping a level 0 item, so 1 will be the lowest possible ilevel to receive.

- Have page quests drop items with levels(possibly not weapons, but an item that is only valuable if you sacrifice them? maybe a single hand pistol LOL)
Ex: Page 13 1-5, 25 6-10, 41 11-15, 65 16-20.

- Buff 41/65 Page monsters at least double and at the most triple/quad their HP/AP to make it difficult to obtain 11-15/16-20 sacrifice drops.

Maybe make it a gamble type of thing where the npcs will drop anything from 1-50 but getting anything over 25 is like a 5% chance and getting 26 27 etc will have lower and lower chances all the way till 50 or whatever number you think is reasonable.

- Add the ilevel/rarity to the item name when it's dropped to add hype upon the drop happening. LOL.

Idk if these suggestions are good, but if so, i'll think up more. ;3

Since the What are you listening to thread is famous now. why dont we make it even better by making a table of frequent posters in the OP with their favourite genres and artists so they would get some recognition and newcomers would know what type of songs they want to hear and what songs they prefer to skip. just an added feature that wont do any harm.

don't know if this could be implemented as an option in-game or has to be added as an .fgz update but can you make an option available that allows us to see the old rocket explosions and massive burst or whatever it's called instead of the new ones, as well as those little icon things that appear above your head when you get a kill.

Meh here's a lil I came up with;

• I believe there was a post in the suggestions thread to bring back the old orange dash color, but I didn't see it in this thread. In V8, the dash color should be whatever color the theme fits with.
• I'm sure you're aware of the AE bug.
• When in game room, set an auto-kick for x amount of time, therefore no one hogs a room. Sick of, "Leo's room, doe."
• Kick all function, when in game room.
• Remove the bug where as someone get's kicked they can easily go to lobby and come back. When doing so, if they leave the room but the kick gets accepted, they shouldn't be able to enter that room again.
• Maybe make use of the "Calender" located here;

a 2nd tab for weapons, like the avatar clothing, but when you go to a room with [ng][ns][ni] etc, the items will move to the 2nd slot and wont get unequipped.(you cant access these items ingame and when you leave the room they come back to first slot)

Push to talk feature would be nice :D i know this is possible...

In regards to the sniper nerf, i'd like to make a suggestion. Set the sniper delays back to normal and create an [ijji] tag (exactly like the [v] tag) to only allow ijji weapons (no ownages, or snipers, etc...) leaving the [v] tag open for snipers if they'd like to use it. I personally don't use snipers but i thought this would be a brilliant idea and decided to share it.

And of course with more thought i'd think this would be a probable solution.

I would like to make a suggestion on adding a room modifier for No shotguns. Seeing there is a bias on Shotgun only modifier for only shotguns to be used in a room. Shotguns have become the base for all pvp allowing sword/gun rooms. If you take out the main used weapon as a choice it would give more diversity in weapon use not only for pvp games but in training games as well. It would be nice to go into training without 5 people spamming shotguns at you. Just an idea for a slight room modifier idea that would be really nice. No shotguns [NSG].

How does it work?
Basically it's a team deathmatch of two teams. The red team has to plant a bomb in a spot on the map and the blue team has to prevent the red team from planting it, if the bomb has been planted then the blue team has to defuse it within a small amount of time (30 seconds or so).
If the blue team couldn't defuse the bomb within 30 seconds then the red team wins, but if they defused it then the blue team wins, also, the blue team could win by killing all of the players on the red team, the same goes for the red team.

Not sure if this mode is do-able on GunZ but I just liked to suggest it '-'

Sounds do-able but 30 seconds seems to be a bit low, I can see this work well for GunZ.

Give an ability to scroll up the in-game chat.
Someone might be flaming a player in-game when the person is AFK, or the chat is spammed so he couldn't screenshot what the other dude said but he still can scroll up the chat by pressing a certain button to screenshot it and report the user.
or someone is advertising and the chat is spammed but unfortunately people couldn't screenshot it so they still could ss it by scrolling up the chat.

Staff command to change the tags of a room. Easy for events, can just slap on different tags instead of making a whole new room.
In case they like talking things out in the middle of it, kick all, then change pw and everything. ;-;

Lucky Box Loyalty Program

Hello!


I have an addiction. It is opening lucky boxes.
It made me think that a loyalty program would be cool. So like, "you bought x coins, here are some free lucky boxes!" or "You have opened x boxes, here are some more on the house!". I am aware that there is currently incentive to buy more coins at a time at bonus % but I feel like it would be cool to have an incentive for buying Lucky Boxes.

You could buy every item in the shop, but the one thing that you can keep buying (curse you, RNG) are Lucky Boxes.

Also, an option to consolidate duplicates would be nice. As in:
Donor Shotgun [90 Days]
Donor Shotgun [90 Days]

A checkbox with a consolidate option to change those into a single donor shotgun for 180 days would be amazing. It removes the clutter and allows gifting someone over a long period easier.


Just some thoughts!

Please Dave, for the love of Buddha, let us say "fck" uncensored. I find it absurd that I can say words like bitch, shit, asshole, douchebag, pussy, and all these other words uncensored, but I can't drop the F bomb. Enchantments should have there own slot in the inventory so that you can use your meds and have enchantment

Example; salim is mutes. so there rank of mutes, you can put beside the name word if he mutes or no, soo. like a vip.

Lower round exp for broken golem and highten exp for killing the boss, currently you get over 50% exp for completing a round at lv50. Give people some motivation to actually do a quest to kill the boss. Now you can level even faster then before the quest update where people spammed schoolquests all day....

Make it so you're able to try the Limitbreaker ONE time for free (for like 3 hours), like you can with donors in the shop. Reason I see why it should be allowed is because there are people who dump hundreds of dollars of REAL life money toward a limitbreaker they've never even tried using before. How do they know for sure they'll like it and be able to play with it well, after having spent all that money just to be able to try it ? You know ?

Look into the PB damage of shotguns. It's insane how quickly anyone can get a kill simply off of recoiling a player, then hitting them with a PB reload shot. Idk if there's a way to lower the PB damage while still keeping the same delay & regular shotgun damage at 8 or 9 or whatever it may be, but if that's possible, please look into it T__T ridiculous how OP that is

allow us to buy multiple donation items at once (mainly for boxes), like how we can in-game with vials.
say we want to buy 10 lucky boxes at once, instead of having to buy 1 then buy 1 then buy 1 (x10)
we can just put a number, same goes for any item, such as shotguns. or not, since why would anyone buy 10 donator sets '-'

Adding to this idea sorta to make more sense out of it, Make it a shopping cart basically like all other shops online.

Clear lobby chat, say if someone spams another server or spams in general or there's mass flood and mutes start getting handed out, the lobby can be cleared of all that clutter o;.

Perhaps a "Gifted Items" link on the website homepage that redirects you to the Lucky Box page. Just an easier way to get to your gifted items, rather than having to go through the tedious "Donation Shop>Other>Lucky Box" thing every time

A med pill/vial that heals both HP & AP at the same time, but weighs more than the regular pills/vials. Since you'll be able to wield two of these (if you make enough room for weight), I'd suggest making the weight higher than normal pills or vials are now. Pills weigh 5 & vials weigh 4, so maybe make these weigh 7 for pills & 6 for vials
