THe FULL Guide For Triple Half Step (THS)

There are ALOT of videos out there showing of THS. But none gave as much detail as i did on how to do THS
You can say this is a "THS for dummies" guide. Explaining Step-by-step, in detail how to pull of the pinnacle move in Gunz.

VIDEO BREAKDOWN:

(0:09) - KEYBOARD SETUP

Movement: WASD Keys
Weapon1: Capslock
Weapon2: Shift

Fire/Slash: Left Click
Sword: Scroll Down (middle button)
Reload: Middle Button.

Why the set up?

Unless you take off the load from your Index and Ring finger to
switch weapons, you will never be able to dash faster.

Putting the weapon switching to your pinkie/small finger will
allow to dedicate WASD fingers for pure movement & execute dashing
faster.

Putting weapons to Capslock & Shift keys will help
switch weapons faster. CAPS & Shift seem to be the optimal reach
for the Pinkie finger... for me at least...

Putting The reload and sword keys on the middle (mouse3 & scroll)
executes them simultaneously & make reload sword switching easier.

(0:59) - Foundational Move: LATE DASH
Doing Everything first then switch to sword befor dashing (video link below)

False Late Dash: 2nd dash has a noise, means it didn't connect:
Actual Late Dash: Silent trail, 2nd dash connected,
Spamming Late Dash: silent trail dash, you can add a jump ONLY if the Dash is SILENT

The Trailing Dash Silent should be MASTERED.

(1:58) - WHERE TO PRACTICE LATE DASH
If youre having a hard time mastering late dash here is a good
place to practice:

Key Movements for Triple Half Step (THS)

1) Gear Tap Late Dash
2) DELAYED Ground Double Half Step
3) Late Dash
------------------------

(2:51) - GEAR TAP LATE DASH (GTLD) & DOUBLE HALF STEP (DHS)

Doing the Silent Trail in GTLD should be second nature.
GTLD allows to chain another LD -> DHS/ or GDHS
GTLD > DHS

If you're having trouble Doing DHS, after GTLD, follow through
with Dash> Slash until you can connect another full Half-Step

(4:17) - DELAYED Ground Double Half Step (D-GDHS)

GDHD is actually
Half-Half Step (LD) + Late Dash

But without Delaying Half-Half Step,
its impossible to add another Late Dash

(Nobody told me about this!!?!? that is why THS was so HARD!)

Adding Delay will give you enough height for LD
Chain in Late Dash: D-GDHS

Jump > Dash > (Delay) > Slash/jump

(5:54) - CONDITIONS TO UNLOCK THS - THE FINAL CHALLENGES

Condition 1: Learn to Spam DHS

You must be able to SPAM DHS, or you will have a hard time doing
(THS) if you cant. You will lose all of your tempo and timing if
you can't Spam DHS. Try to spam 3 DHS in a row at least

Condition 2: Get a Good grasp of D-GDHS Timing

This is the trickiest part. you will need ALOT of practice until
you get the feel of the timing. May take more than a day or so to
get the timing right.

Either way, if you are having a hard time doing THS
Go back to spamming DHS and practicing D-GDHS

FINALLY IF YOU CAN DO EVERYTHING ABOVE!
Combine DHS + D-GDHS = THS

Either way, if you are having a hard time doing THS,
Go back practicing D-GDHS and spamming DHS
------------------------
(6: 34) - FINALLY TRIPLE HALF STEP

UPDATE: (please click the photos)
There is a big difference between doing solo D-GDHS and doing it while THS
When doing D-GDHS solo it is (almost very) easy to add the delay between the dash and the slash.

However, It is almost next to impossible to add the delay between the DASH & SLASH when doing GDHS in THS
Instead, ADD A SLIGHT DELAY BETWEEN SLASH & WEAPON SWITCH to increase the height of the second Step.
(Again, the silent trailing dash has to be silent)

hepta-hs (This is like 2 ths's and one single hs chained which is 7 hses or also known as hhs (7halfstep))

Great tutorial, how ever I don't recommend learning this move because you won't use it much.
Instead of stopping at ths I went to do QHS and PHS and eventually had like 15-20 in a row before stopping and this broke my scroll.

OT;
Very very nice tutorial, I wish it was here before I learned it would've saved me alot of time.
Keep up the tutorial please I would like to see more !

its more like a belt title.. if you can't THS then ur not pro... sort of thing...

I cant quit Gunz unless i learn THS...

and i personally thank Freestyle Gunz for this...
In fact I used the skyline to train late dash

Edit: I have put almost everything in this tutorial... i dont know what stuff i unbeknownst-ly left out. but this guide should be complete

It's possible to chain it infinite times, but atm broke my scroll.

I think qbf chained followed immediately by a dhs ppq or ths would be much harder than ths. Hell, i think qbf in general is harder than ths lol

QBF is **cking insane yeah i knwo i know... but QBF > THS is a combo not a step... i can't do QBF

THS is a combo sure, but you could turn qbf into a combo by combining other moves with it.

In this controllers, you can't LD fast :(

Awesome tutorial but you if you matered weapon 1, weapon 2 in key numbers 2and3 you can THS if you mastered but if not just try to watch the tutorial again thanks :)

Here is a replay I just made like instantly I joined a training room to test if I still could chain it.
hepta-hs (This is like 2 ths's and one single hs chained which is 7 hs's.)
If you used this tutorial I'm sure you would be able to get more cgdhs'es and eventually get qhs phs etc.
Feel free to ask questions, but it's bassicly repeating the steps over and over.
