Need help (windows vista) O.o

Okay,
Since my main computer ****ed up because I installed win 7 (lol).
I am now using my laptop and I am thinking to use it as my main.

Okay, my problem or let's call it a question is how to connect to a caple Oo (lol too)
I am now using wireless.
I plugged a caple and tried to connect but I failed.
We have 2 other computers is plugged with caple and on that pcs we have internet.


Help me :D

First of all is the cable connected to ur router?

I think plugging it in is pretty much everything you have to do lol.

Maybe the router software o_O?
Idk crap about this q-q.

ok look , behind the router got a button saying reset?(normally a little thing where u press with a pen and it resets the router , try reseting it and then plug in the comptuer and see if you got it.
i have the exact same problem when i got my cable in a computer than when i want to put the cable in another computer i always need to do reset.

You need to put your physical Address into the router site page if you have one.

kyuu that depends on router :S most router come with it already :S ,i just change my ip in my router page nothing more :P

Not working.

Unplugged the caple and reseted the router plugged the caple on.....

Help me please I hate wireless...

is the hardware for your LAN input even working properly...?
Suggestion: download CPUID CPU-Z and check if everything is working properly.

ok wait , your modem cable is in your router and then with the router cable u want to put it in computer?
if thats the case , i dont think thats possible because that was created for wireless .. im not sure , just trying to help.

How exactly did you fail to install it. because fixing a messed up installation is most likely the easiest thing EVER to do.
