Regarding banned people who hack

Suggestion description:
keep it ijji? I remember if you hacked back on ijji and was banned that account would be perma banned and it was quite efficient for one reason doubt hackers are going to pay money for those donors all over again just to get banned again on a new fresh account, even if they got the donors sent to them, it would end somewhere the supply at least and it would give a statement.

+ its a good way to keep the money coming in / business wise not like gunz is a multi-million dollar game so any sort of income is good

im not saying if this is liked it could be put into effect now with the current bans but maybe along with v8 new rules?

personally I think this would be a great way to actually punish those hackers indefinitely.

edit: and oh if that player was actually proven guilty with no signs of using hacks thats the only way to get his account back but he has to prove his innocence or have at least been proved to not hack.

So close their main account with the donations and no IP ban allowing them to continue playing on alt accounts, is that what you're suggesting because I didn't quite get the idea..

no IP ban as it is now, once they appeal and get their unban as we know fgunz is known for unbanning people fast especially if they hack, this time they wont be given their original account and have to start fresh, as we know when a person hacks hes well aware of what hes getting himself into currently with the current system it just seems like you're rewarding them for hacking.

I don't even know why people are still reporting hackers, most of the time they're unbanned the same day within. I reported Meltlilith for hitboxing, 3 GM's agreed and some other plays aswell who I asked an opinion of before reporting. Guess what? I logged on the other day, and there he was back at it again XD.

I actually agree from what I've currently seen its an endless cycle, I don't why it has to be like this thats why im giving a suggestion that can possibly change this?

even if it the upper staff take this into consideration it would be a win because right now people who hack on fg are being rewarded for what they do nothing else, I don't really see any loss for them

I know the reason why it is the way it is. If they wouldn't unban them their friends will most likely stop playing, and since people who play clanwars are most likely the biggest source of income for FGunZ they decide to keep it alive.

well with the current system its dying anyway..

anyway atleast with my way they will think twice with hacking and it will come with a cost if they do get that unban which more than likely they will

As it is now, there is IP ban when you decide to use hacks, I don't agree with the idea except that GM's could unban their IP only and have their main account with the donations locked so they could have a fresh start but yet, GunZ is a dying game and this would be pointless to do, game would die even faster.

GunZ will be empty in less than 3 months if the people who hack are banned for 6 months. They just move onto another GunZ. (I'd rather see it shutting down than having to play against 2 hackers in every CW I play though.

I don't understand what you're aiming at, you hack, you get IP banned.
Your idea is to let those who hack, not IP banned and let them play on alt accounts once they get unbanned (what?) and with those hacks being out, they would just abuse them even more knowing that they are known hackers amongst the community and they would have nothing to hide.

Closing their main account means nothing since they can find donation items by Lucky Boxes and Forum Giveaways. This suggestion would have a meaning if Lucky Box items wouldnt be tradeable. It's easy to find donors in FG.

Hackers should receive IP Bans for 6 months. And GMs have to be very strict on the unbans.

My actual aim is to try and understand why people who hack get unbanned anyway, so I came up with a counter cause currently the obviously banning system isnt working the moment they hack > month later unbanned > then they hack again > banned > unbanned repeat endless cycle

as I said before its like you're rewarding them, in general what im actually aiming for is for them to never get unbanned game might be dying but as we know they are well are of what they are doing when their downloading those hacks or using them, I would rather play on a server with 50 people who aren't hacking than on a server with 200 where 100 are hacking..

I could agree on that and I wouldn't know whether those who hack get unbanned within a few weeks or a month and you wouldn't really rather play on a server with 50 people because it would be only questers, no real competition at TDM/Duels/CW.

anyway its only a suggestion not saying my ways the best way it could be adapted and made into a more effective banning system, something which is not abused by the current people who hack..

How is it a competition against hackers though?

Well, lets be honest, give them alt account to play with doesnt change shit, people wont even make an unban app since its easy to bypass anyway.

Unban = unban
dont change shit.

Hacking is a 6 months ban so I don't know what the hell most of guys are talking about.

No one who was caught hitboxing or shottbotting has been unbanned in just a month. If you see someone you reported getting banned and then play again the next day then something happened in their appeal obviously, and you can speculate whatever that now was but that could change our opinions on the ban.

What you're saying is that people would do anything to bypass and start over fresh and so we would earn more money but that's just not true at all.

6 months ban and then you get your acc back I wouldn't really call a reward.

The only time I have considered reducing someones ban is if they give some sort of valuable information really.

while I mostly agree still why go through all that when they just get unbanned to do it again, if you pay close attention the people who get banned/unbanned are near most the same people always anyway.

Because even though most people keep doing it, theres a few who doesn't. And this is a dying game afterall.

Look at Almighty/Zoro for instance, he's be banned the best part of a year? Still never unbanned, probably bypassing like.

Am I the only one who thinks: 'Oh! Another GunZ server, let's check it out. Hmm, a game which has quite an amount of hackers... I don't wanna play on this server.' And then wonder why the game is dying. I'd rather play on a server which has 50 players than a game which has 100 players but 50 hackers...

So your suggestion is to only account ban people so they have to buy donation items again?

When people use hacks, it doesn't matter if they use donation items or not, they will have an advantage either way so I don't see how this makes any sense.

Better idea - Ban (all) the admins from Sabertooth 1incred1bl3 and Antique (oh wait Osama is banned) and the hacking issue wont be an issue anymore! Problem solved.

Hackers have a 6 months minimum ban length or so and it's already a perma ban. That's why we have unban appeal for that.

For this, well you got a good point if the players here are rich people. Most of the players here don't have work or what we call minors. Some can ask their parents to donate, some who can't. We should consider them, people who quests, plays ctf/infected for level 99 to rebirth just to buy and have donors.
I think your suggestion doesn't make sense and will just keep players quitting the game. You should also think about the disadvantages.

if certain people cant donate for various reasons and decide to quest or do whatever else to get coins, they value their coins way more than those who did donate.
either way if you quested your way to 99 just to rebirth for the coins, you probably wouldnt be using hacks. and if you did and got caught, well, its a shame all you just did went to waste, and youll have to go through that process all over again on a new account. this is also an incentive for players not to hack in the first place.

We already do occasionally unban people but keep their main account banned. Every situation is different so this wouldn't really be something we can do.
