Allah Akbar
Are u Muslim Mike ?
god made man
To keep this short since I dont wanna argue about this once again
our holy quran specifically says 'we've got our beliefs and you've got yours' the verse basically states that if you dont believe in Allah (God) or Islam as a religion (or christianity for example) you can have your way and I could have mine, and im not here to enforce anyone to believe that whether god exists or not, but at least for those that do believe have some respect towards them and our lord, thats all I ask of, thank you
If there was a God, he's dead.
If there's no god then how the world became?
Remember that we all have our own beliefs. Honestly, this topic is too broad, believe me, this won't end.
According to my research, it said that there are 30+ (don't know how many there are though) different theological positions but some are not theological but are related and will probably help.
1. atheism - disbelief in any god/s
2. strong/explicit atheism - atheist with no doubt about the non-existence of a god
3. weak/implicit atheism - atheist with some strong doubts about the non-existence of a god
4. agnosticism - belief that no one can know if there is a god or not
5. weak/empirical agnosticism - atheist or theist that still has some strong doubts about the existence or non existence of a god
6. strong agnosticism - someone who believes that we will never know whether a god exists or not and that doesnt lean toward there being one or not
7. ignosticism/igtheism - theological position that every other theological position assumes too much about a god
8. theological noncognitivism - argument that religious language is not cognitively meaningful
9. theism - belief in a god or gods
10. monotheism - belief in only one god
11. polytheism - belief in multiple gods
12. pantheism - belief in all gods
13. panentheism - belief that god exists in all of nature
14. monism (in theology) - belief that reality is made up of one element
15. henotheism - worship of one god while not denying the possible existence of others
16. monolatrism/monolatry - believing in many gods while worshiping only one
17. deism - belief in a higher authority but not a "god" per say
18. apatheism - apathy towards the existence of a god*
19. non-theism - disbelief in a god or gods
20. anti-theism - against all belief in a god or gods
21. anti-clericalism - historical movement openly opposing religious influence, specifically Catholic influence
22. secularism - separation from religion
23. secular humanism - belief system rejecting any god and placing man before a god
24. religious humanism - combining religion with humanist ideals
25. non-religious - someone who doesn't follow an organized religion
26. theological position - your personal beliefs
27. post-theism - belief that we have developed beyond our need for a god
28. transtheistic - a system which includes deities, but maintains that they are not ultimate
29. anti-religion - against all religious beliefs not your own
30. free thought - viewpoint that opinions should be formed according to logic and reasoning
31. parody religion - a religion that makes fun of another religion
32. falsifiability - the possibility that something can be proven false
33. humanism - considers human needs to be of the highest priority

Because God is something fictional, thought of by a human being.
If you're really curious about how the Earth and life was created, read the following:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Earth
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timelin...istory_of_life
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organism
But really, this discussion is pointless because it's just people trying to proof something does exist versus people trying to proof something does not exist (and obviously I'm on this side).
i'm exist that means god exists
God can create a people by using ash
But people can create a new GOD :D :) :4

God Made Faky xDD
God is right here:

God is Kanye West. Kanye West is life.
On a serious note, I personally choose not to believe in any higher deity. If you do, I respect that. You're free to think what you want. I just don't believe it. I have no proof of the non-existence, but I have strong doubts. I'd rather believe something I feel more secure about.
The only thing I like about religion and following the word of God is that the messages it spreads can instill some good values in young children that will follow them throughout their lives. But I don't believe the ONLY way to learn those values and live a good life is by believing in this God, worshiping him, and following his word. Human beings are more than capable of forming these values on their own (without having ever even heard of God before), passing them down to future children, and deciding what they feel is moral/immoral, right/wrong and what not. If you feel the only way this is possible is through following and worshiping a God, I respect that. But I personally don't feel that way.
And before Faky says "you didn't answer my question blah blah blah go edit your post," to completely answer your question, I think man made God and God is a figment of our imaginations.
Sister act damn, I used to watch that movie cuz my mom loves it to the bone (remember those days you weren't allowed to do shit and the only shit on tv was the shit your mom was watching and you were not allowed to zap, well that was when I had to see this shit)
God was created by man to control man.
People who don't believe in God believe that when they die it's all over.. They turn in to dust and exist never again lmao
Sigh...
I met God, she was black.
I dont really care if you are religious or not. Personally I am an atheist. This means that I reject the ideas and believes of religion because of lack of evidence (by using the scientific method). But that is just what I concluded. I am not gonna tell you what to believe or not. you should let nobody tell you what you should believe. Think for yourself.
If you're being serious about religious views don't go to a private server's forum seeking out information. Everyone has their own distinctive opinion and nobody is right or wrong as it sometimes can be biased/over-exaggerated. Do some research for yourself, visit temples, churches, mosque's etc... OR even read about it in your local library. JUST PLEASE.. don't be a downy and come to forums for people to be internet preachers when they can't even practice for themselves.
baby dont god me, dont god me, no more

Well, if im not wrong; i believe it was Freud (can't remember anymore) who once said that men created god so he could set autolimits to himself. I find this idea quite interesting cause if u think about it, its kinda logical.
Most of people need to have limits and need to be afraid of something/someone, so they can auto-control (?) Idk, im not an atheist nor a religious person, im just a simple agnostic guy.
These arguments always go sideways. Either way im a Christian and Everyone has their own different opinions and views on this. So if your looking for an exact answer go out and ask real people instead of grabbing answers from the internet.
So Finally,
''Man Made God'' Wins.
I like this sentence Man made god for control MAN.
So... who made women? I'd like to meet that person :3
God dissapeared after man were made, than angels runned heaven and it eventually fall because of medatron the angel who wrote the tablets for god, but good thing dean and sam winchester are there to fight evil.
Lol... Man made God "wins" on a private server with 14,026 members, roughly half of them active. Out of the billions of people on this planet...
Must mean it's true. Everyone can happily be atheists now :o.o
... **** outta here man lol. I thought you made this thread to have a healthy debate about people's views, so we could bounce ideas off of each other and reflect on our own views. These are our views and opinions, not a competition that should be viewed as "win" or "lose"
I'm not so sure there's a "winning" side if we're talkin bout religion, lol. Not like i dont take religion srsly, but (to me) i find it very difficult to believe in something i never was able to actually see. I think atheist just want to criticize everything bout religion/god, which makes em even more attached to religion, trying to find a reason for everything even if it doesnt need one. Meanwhile religious people want to believe in something bigger than them, which makes em slaves of their own thoughts (not in an offensive way, plz dun go all butthurt coz i said slaves).
At the end everybody choose what they want to believe, it doesnt make it less or more true. Hell, i believe in #obamacare and if some1 doesnt believe in it, it wont make it less tru KK GG BB #GENDEREQUALITY #420blazeit
God made man.
I believed dat ''GOD IS MOM,NATURE,TRUST''
And ''Work is Workship''
You know, we are supposed to respect other people's opinions but you just make absolutely no sense with your gibberish disrespectful talk and thoughts, with that said, I seriously wanna understand why do you care whether he exists or not. Take it this way
you know there is
a brain in your head
but can you see it? Have you ever seen it?
no
that means you never had one
Speaking with your logic sir, have a nice day
I dont know or understand what the topic creator is trying to say but my personal belief on 'God' is well I don't rather believe in God but I believe in a force their is something their but I just don't label it 'God'.
Going back ontop; Evolution :)
Do you even English... do you know what "exists" means? stop contradicting yourself downy.
I would like the assistance of forum moderators to lock any retarded debating threads about God if the thread host him/herself cannot speak English thanks. It would prevent stupid thread spams like this retard not knowing what he's talking about...
This thread should have been shut ages ago regardless.Quote:
Q: Why ban conversations about religion?
Religions contradict other religions no matter which way you look at it. It's a portal for argument and unfriendly debate, no matter how many times you make an infraction. When people believe in something, they tend to feel very strongly about it and resort to inappropriate measures to back it up.
