Good afternoon people,
My name is Stokbrood and I am new to FreeStyle Gunz. Years ago I used to play Gunz and all of a sudden I felt the urge to look for a server to casually play again.
I downloaded the game but when I try to patch it I get an error which is related to my firewall.
How do I fix this?

I already told you what to do in the chatbox, I'll repeat it:
Sounds like the game is getting blocked by your firewall, add gunz.exe and launcher.exe (inside your FGunZ folder) to the exception list of your firewall.

I don't know if it would help seeing the launcher asks you to already, but have you tried running the program as an administrator forcefully?
Welke antivirus heb je geïnstalleerd? het lijkt erop dat die de boel blokkeert. Windows defender alleen is voldoende.
Ik heb gewoon Windows Defender. Maar zit wel op de laptop van mijn werk. Misschien heeft het iets te maken met rechten?Quote:

Have a read at that article, more importantly the Regedit part where you can completely disable your AV from working using registry keys.
Alternatively you can download MBAM if you are scared of being infected/hacked, good luck.
Just remove anti-virus or disable it through tutorial on youtube.
