Work in progress: Improving Garden

For a change! <Work in progress!>

Allright, since some people really liked my previous map, Retexturing of Mansion, I decided to re-texture another one, this time it's Garden. And also this time, I'll only focus on improving the graphics and not, as in Mansion, to changing the look of the map.

Well then you scumbags, sit down because it's time for some previews.

Furthermore I'd like to remind you guys to only post constructive comments.
If you would have shown any serious interest in this project or the people around here you wouldn't have written that reply, as I said earlier that I only re-texture original maps.
And who needs all those extra maps? I mean, 9 out of 10 are crap anyways.

Basically the only thing you did was increasing the contrast. You should try adding more details, such like scratches, rust or some grass highlights in the hedge .

which side is the new one ?

i like the sky change.. but nobody is going to see a diffrence.

Usseles im using archetype,so does 90% of people.

You're right, thanks for the advice.
I did already change one texture, the white wall outside of one of the team's base. It was plane white with a small grain, and I changed it, but I'm not going to say anything detailed.

That would be hard, since most of the map is based on nighttime. Furthermore, the sky.dds file is borrowed from the Ruin.mrs file. So it's impossible to change it. I would have to adjust the Sky.ELU file for that, but that's in Japanese or some other ****ed up Asian-language, and yes I said ****ed up asian language because in my opinion all the Asian languages are ****ed up because they're too damn complicated. And they obstruct my progress in developing these new map skins. So if you're going to flame me for saying this, please do so in a PM, and do not bore other users with it.

Elu is a model file, not a texture or text

Apprently Using own Models or editing the Elu in a Hex Editor will do the trick.
And its not even hard to use those 2 ways o.o
Paths and other stuff is readable in Hex Editors in the Ascii "Translation".

If you could edit the ELU file for me so that it loads the .dds file located in the Garden folder instead of the Ruin folder I'd be glad, and I'll fetch you a Thanks on the way out.

I like how the lighting of the map makes the lamp-posts and things that are bright stand out from the dark.
