FGunZ Duel tournament!

Event?

I'd like to organize an event dedicated to our upcoming new client, and I thought it would fit to make it a one versus one tournament! I'll probably be helding this after the new clients release, but I might do it a little bit earlier. I thought, let's see how many people are interested in this event.

Event details

- There will most likely be made a selection of 32 players who have registered for the event, based on how active they are ingame. I know I can not know how active most of them are, therefore I will do this by discussing it with other GMs.
- The 32 players who have been selected will be put into a single elimination bracket, which means that once you lose, you're out. This will lead us to the final. :)
- Every one versus one will be played in five different maps, depending on which round they are in. Every round has it's own map, this means that everyone will play the same map, and can not be changed. This will be done by doing 20 rounds in TDM, if tie, 5 extra rounds will have to be played.
The maps that will be played are Mansion, Battle Arena, Factory, Prison and Town. I have not decided yet in which round which map will be played.
- In this event there will only be a selection of weapons allowed, with the obvious excluision of donator/event items. This selection will be announced later on.
- I have not yet decided what the prizes will be, I will do so once this event is official.

The duels will be done in their own room, they will also have to arrange it themselves. Only if they can't seem to figure out a date and time together, then I'll decide when they will play.

A duel is 20 rounds, so you'll have to lose many rounds. And every match has to be recorded and sent to me, if someone has lag, or any other issue, it's his fault and has the risk to be disqualified. The match may also be redone ofcourse.

It's still in the thread, if you read it properly you would've seen that I will make a selection based on a few things. And maybe it's possible to extand the bracket or something, if I think it is do-able.

They don't have an advantage, the ping you have to them is the same for them. So on both sides the gameplay is the same, leading is part of the game. UNLESS it's extreme lag, that isn't caused by distance, then I'll see what I do with it.

iight, and to be clear , the exact date of this isnt set right? and if not can u make it on a Saturday :o cant go on much on

There's no actual date, you and the opponent have to figure a date yourself within a specific period of time. I will only set a date if the two opponents can't seem to agree with eachother on when to fight.
