Yeah so i made this cause im doing a study for graphic artist
and there using macbooks and i dont want to use a macbook cause i just say they suck -.-
and i saw Alienware and i kinda like the design and what is inside of it :o
so what do you think is better '-'

Well for graphic programms and hardware/software macs are better. you can ask it your teacher's at graphic schools. they will all say that.

Simple, go for a mac or build one yourself ( or get one from another company then Alienware ). I'd say build one yourself but I'm not sure wether you're talking about laptops only or not. I just know that both Mac and Alienware are overpriced, except that you get a different operating system with a Mac.

Yeah well, they want you to use a macbook because it runs on OSX or whatever it is called. I'm not sure but I don't think you can run OSX on other then mac computers. Theres those Hackintosh things but thats kinda meh.

Just make sure you get proper parts. I'm not sure how many cores photoshop uses, but if theres only 2 being used its probably better to go for a high end dual core proccesor, also think you need a lot of ram and a good videocard :P. Worth looking that up imo.

Im not saying Mac is shit but for the price I would go for a decent AW. A low end Alien laptop is about 200 u.s.d cheaper then the $1000 Mac book. Spewing out about 1.3k dollars to get a decent Alien and you ultimately have a better system the the Mac, gfxly speaking. Mac would be a cheaper choice so if money is tight then he should go with that one, but if he can go about 300 more dollars go with an Alien.Quote:

Best to get Alienware, even Alienware with the better specifications can probably do about the same or more then a Macbook pro, and the fact that most people I know with macbook pro either moan or complain about it but still use it, but tbh, Personally built is the best, but if your choosing out of both, I'd go with Alienware.

Find any apple product and I garuntee there's a better windos version, it may be a little more expensive or even cheaper, but apple/mac in my opinion, is shit.
