First off, I'd like to say that I completely agree...

With...

Ekital.

I highly doubt he would be denied by them if he applied for the GFX team. The others, however, should have been. If you are trying to be viewed as a serious server, then don't bring people onto a team if they have know clue what they're doing.

The point of the GFX team is to design the interfaces, forum skins, loading screens, and make threads helping people who are curious about GFX. However, because none of the current members of the GFX team are nearly good enough to do any of the aforementioned, then they should not be on the team.

Although McSic may see potential in them, potential is a waste if it's not fulfilled. However, speaking by lots of experience with GFX, I see these members of the GFX team as people who will give up GFX sooner or later, and their potentials will be wasted.

Just my input, I would heed it if I were you.

The GFX usergroup has never been used to create the ingame interface or any template/skin for the forums. There were some occasional contests that were hosted, but they were for the forum banner. Ever since I started and worked here, the Administrators would make the designs or ask a developer to submit one.

The GFX usergroup was suppose to be for people active in using their artistic skills, as a way to get together and help improve themselves or others.

Exactly.
I don't know where all these people got the idea that GFZ Team contibuted to anything with the game itself.
It's just a usergroup for people who are interested in GFX. Similar to the Gold Member, they have contests and their own colour and section of the forum.

this, this is why you're Nr1 Staff Member. but then again i can see where Ekital could be coming from, if they're not that good they shouldn't be in the GFX team, it's like someone applying for a Mechanics job with little to no knowledge of Mechanics. But then again they can learn and get better over time with dedication and motivation (if needed) but i really don't see any problem with any of the work from the people on the GFX team. So far from what i've seen, everyone in the GFX team (in my eyes) can make and produce pretty good GFX.

I love doing GFX Work, People say we join because of the color, Tbh i don't give a crap it's blue wow wanna medal guy's?
As long as im showing my dedication that i wan't to get better, I have been recently making load's of signature's because i want to improve, If you have a problem with the GFX Group Sign up, Take lead, And sort thing's how you want it to be, Shame it won't work that way though, MCSIC Chooses Not you, iv already said before, Stop making this stupid thread, And Consult to MCSIC.

Never said it was a professional GFX forum. However, the GFX "TEAM" should have knowledge in order to help the community. If they are absolutely atrocious, then I see no reason as to why there should even be a GFX team. If the admins are just adding whomever the feel fit just to have another group, then put everyone in the GFX group. Demure is the only person that I've seen have some degree of knowledge and experience in graphics. The rest of them are horrible.
