Donor items

So, I am not sure why I didn't post this before, it just came back to my mind, that post on donor SGs colors triggered the memory xD.

Anyway, not sure if this has been suggested but I will say it anyway:
Let each person select which item they want shown as their donor item, so if they buy x2 donor SGs (10s) they will be able to put the stats of the 2 donor SGs to whichever shotgun item there is on the shop.

If you do not understand my idea, post here and I will address it as soon as possible, have to leave for uni now :(

You mean, you can choose the design of your item?
Like the Breaker 8 with Donator stats? (damage, delay and so on?)

I don't think this will be done.

it's going to be possible, i've already seen that kind of idea.

I don't think it would be a waste of time since everyone in the community has a taste of fashion and wants to be able to choose their own design.

People wouldn't know if the item was a donation item tho, donation items have to stick out.

if this is implemented, it will be hard to know if the players are using donors or not

Since the owners still decide those things, I think the answer will be no :P

That's true, that's one of the disadvantages but then why not put a limit to what certain designs of shotguns you want to choose?
For example, the color shotguns.

It will give them an idea that "these shotguns can be donors."

It is mcsic , waffles choice to do with the donors.

Everyone's main concern seems to be that donors would not stand out, I guess that is true.

But it would be awesome to be able to get normal clothes with donor stats so that you can make some sets up. Also it would be nice to have GDS (golden dragon sword) with the 28dmg of a donor sword.

Anyway, just a suggestion :)

Not true, if this was to be implemented an automated system would be done aswell to avoid the "PAIN IN Azz".

I think if we were to do this we should charge like 50 or so coins because its not something we want everyone doing

Err just giving my 2 cents about this, since donor items need to stand out and you guys dont want to make a system where people are allowed to choose their own design, can you guys make more donor items with the same stats? so people get to have a variety on their look? (Notice how i said same stats! i dont think this server needs anymore op weapons :) but i do enjoy this server).

I don't think it's possible to do atm. If it is, then it's very hard to implement into the system, and it's much simpler the way it is now. All the coding that would be necessary to do such a small thing wouldn't be worth it. Also, it's better that we see the difference between donors and regular weapons rather than having hidden donors. Just my opinion.

Well, that's true.

Just make different looking donor SGs with the same stats. Problem solved GG.

I need to know what damage guns my opponent have.
Imagine a 11dmg gun in disguise :(

Does knowing the damage of your opponent's guns really affect your play style? Interesting.

Yes, obviously if my opponent has 11 damage shotgun I will play different from if he had 10dmg.

I would say just let the user choose a different DESIGN of a donor shotgun.
It would save time and server the same purpose. I'm a fashion whore on GunZ so this appeals to me.

As far as knowing the opponents guns affecting your play style, they do.
I would play much more evasively if they had 11's due to their devastating power if I get hit at
close range with them.

You could just give the players the option to choose a different design of the donor item to their preference,
and not the item itself. Just the design. The Idea is nice though and I support it!

Would you be rushing an 11 dmg shotgun when one shot pb could potentially take you straight to red?

good ida i think you need to put in the stor designs like the braker 8 for meny colors and that.... :P
