Fail to initialize Direct X

when i start the game im gettin a error message saying: fail to initialize Direct X i saw a previous post about this issue saying delete your config.xml i did and still not workin.

Update the drivers of your GPU (Graphics Card).

If you don't know how:
1. Start -> Run
2. Fill in dxdiag and press enter.
3. Press the "Display" tab.
4. Google the "Name" and "Chip Type" and find drivers for it.
5. Download and install/update.

try going into config.xml and changing the resolution manually to your desktop resolution.

just updated all my drivers and reinstalled fgunz also, the resolution already was the same with my desktop.

both didnt worked. :(

someone knows something i could try?

Your directx is probably outdated, well, the only tip I could give you is updating your directx, microsoft is your best look: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/downl...ils.aspx?id=35

Can you post your launcherlog.txt here?
Try re-instal gunz.exe

i re-installed the whole game already.

download the zip version.

Downloaded gunz.exe/launcher.exe here and replaced them? : http://fgunz.net/game5/gunz/
Blocked antivirus and checked firewall etc?

Please post your mlog.txt and config.xml.

If none of these have worked then there is a possibility that it's your hardware acceleration.

Display Properties > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshoot > Slide the bar to full. If it's already on full, slide it to none.
