If you really want to go pro you need to find at least 4 other players for a team that are very good.
Play around 8 hours a day or more (at least most of the pros do that).,
Know your teamwork and farming (last hit like there is no tomorrow).
Also you need to know how to build up your items depending on the game.
To improve yourself just to pay better matches I recommand you want Season 3 matches of the pro teams.
Read some guides on Lolpro, Mobafire or Solomid (for mastry, runes and item builds).
Watch epic fails and wins of the day by Jumpinthepack (for laughs and learn to read the current situation + jukes yo!).
Practise solo laning (1vs1 top for example), solo vs duo (you vs 2 on top for example), last hitting and try to jungle once in a while to practise how to counter gank junglers.

It wasn't really that impressive, it was their fault leaving their base exposed and it's not like an olaf can do /anything/ against a Kass with such a big obstacle between them. It was like, an amateur mistake in a pro league game. Even at my elo we know not to leave an exposed nexus without a mobile carry to defend.

Noone would expect a 1/4 HP left Kassadin to TELEPORT at the last minion of his team that was on the blue base to backdoor, everyone, and I mean every single player would expect him to go base and defend his nexus.
You would have done the same, go to their base and destroy their nexus.
