this one is too bright, takes away from the detail of the character and the background, but its not that bad! The colors are all meshed well, different text might make it look better. Only tip I could give you for this one is to not add too much light, light and dark are tricky, too much and it looks funny, too little and it doesn't pop.

this one I don't like at all :O the render has horrible quality, and the color overlay is god awful :O I like the character, but a better or smudged render would have been better. With that color overlay its too dark and murky, dark is good but the murky film look doesn't cut it :/

this one is amazing. Even though its simple the color and lightning is well done, and the render is beautiful :P I would definitely use this as a signature now and forever >_<

this one isn't bad :P but it isn't as good as the one above it. The colors go well with eachother, however there is very little detail and the render doesn't seem to fit into the background well. a duller blue glow as apposed to the light sea green to light navy blue would have been a better choice, sometimes putting color layers or gradients on the end result of a picture help the render and background mix peacefully >_< its not bad though, just needs a wee bit of work is all :O

honestly, these aren't that bad at all :P better than what most people produce :D good job! keep up the good work sir(or ma'am O_O)
Thanks Invoke. My Problem is my taste is stuck on obscenely bright and chaotic scenes. I'm working on toning it down though. I've never been big on smudging but lately I've been trying to add a little bit in with each sig. I'll work on what you said and hopefully put out some better ones in the next group batch I do.

you could try balancing out the light with dark O_O if theres dark parts mixed in, the light looks more luminescent :P like flames in a void >_<Quote:
