New Katana Animations

Started messing around with GunZ files again (been around 8+months since I last tinkered). Anyway, I replaced the current GunZ animations with early KGunZ animations. Here's the result

The male animations are fairly smooth. The female animations need some work done to them. I either switched a later swing animation with an earlier one, or the swords delay is too short for the animation.

No other private server uses these, for some reason. You are still able to kstyle, as seen in my video. This was done on FGunZ (about 4 minutes ago). I have a few more things to try and depending on how it goes, I will post. Ex. Working dual daggers, fist weapons

Cool stuff for the guys. For females, you may want to keep the current slash animations, seeing as how that one doesn't seem to fit females. Can't wait until you pull up the fist weapons and duel daggers. Only thing wrong is I can easily see the fist weapons pulling up a lot of sexual innuendos that aren't needed.

I just like the way the RS was for the female. But the current animations for the girl that we already have is just fine. The male's animation is actually pretty cool. I think its better than the current one we have.

Errrr the one right now looks much better why don't you do a poll to see which one we keep?

The female delay on the Kanata is higher than the delay on the male. O_O;

The male slashing animation looks brilliant to me and if your gonna work of the female animation I think you should replace it, looks much nicer to me, Epic.:3

@Grascen: When have people not tried sexual innuendo with the animations... I.E Med swapping.;-; Remember when my whole team kept doing that around me.

Ugh I dont like the last slash of male character it just doesn't fit in the overall picture, and yeah the female could be done a little smoother.. But I like the animation !

I'm not planning on putting them into the client. They aren't complete, yet, and players probably wouldn't want to switch even when they are completed. I'm just showing possibilities.

For the male or the female? The male's animations for any kstyle move are the same as they are now. The female's kstyle moves are very fast since the animation is incorrect.

The last slash is not part of the standing chain. The final slash of the chain puts the male character slightly into the air. The continuous clicking adds a jumping slash animation, and that is what you see.

well i think they both look like great animations if u are gunna continue please ty and make an animation for female using the style of fighting named Battōjutsu. in Japanese times it was known as the best sword fighting style known. one single slash could take down many opponents.

Male is better on this one but the old female one is better so just replace the old male :)
