Extra info (28 jan):
Changed the title to TEG project (TEG - The Element Grenade).
We might change the grenades back to the original form with an element effect around it.
Most likely we will adjust the animations and the shop will updated with more effort put into it.

True. However this isn't the only element grenade which will be created. Will be nerving the lightning damage.

There will be also: Fire, Ice and Poison.

Repeating again: This isn't an update for FG.

Why would you do this,

If this get's accepted the following will happen.

1. There will be a donation version of it.

2.The donation version will last longer.

3. People dont need to have skills anymore, To get a decent ammount of kills.

4. There will be a donation version of it.

Did I say this is going to be definitely accepted? No. If people don't want it, it's won't be on FG, period.
Lightning grenade seems like over-powered, yes. For Ice, Fire and Poison seems fine to me.

why would ppl spam grenades that they'll never hit srsly you gotta get lucky on ping + there's a delay untill it explodes so it makes it easy to dodge.

I was thinking about "TEAM MED" like those ADAM grenades but a bit different, whoever are inside the circle gets HP. < I think it's a good idea.
And about the "Element Grenade" I think it will be nice if FG will add a few (for test) and disable it on CW as Steff mentioned.

I dont like it that much also the video doedn't show much. About dejtiars ides , I dont think many people are gonna play that

I think the Electric element would be OP. However, if you use: Poison, Flame or Ice - I suggest you should reduce the damage so it doesn't instant kill the player (of course it's silly saying that because you obviously would want the player to die quickly, but speaking in my perspective - If I were the player and the grenade was over powered, it wouldn't require people anymore skill to kill which would annoy the crap out of me since we already have the 'ownage' gun). Ownage + Element Ice Grenade = GG '-'

Get a grenade to hit someone by lightning and just spray players full to dead.

I think it's a cool idea if it doesn't deal too much damage.

Y'all *****s qqing about how op it's gonna be, you're forgetting what if they choose to put this, they'll have no meds, you'll still have the advantage over them. Shut the fk up already and stop living in 2006.

Element grenades won't be over-powered at all IF they would be on FG.

Let's start from the lightning one:
Viewing the video, you can clearly see it does massive damage. Obviously this will be changed.
Damage: Around 30-40 maximum.

Grenade fire element:
Damage: Around 70-80. Decreases HP / AP for 3 seconds.
This knocks you back as the default one.

Ice:
Damage: Around 20-35. Delays you from moving depending on the level.
This knocks you back as the default one.

Poison element:
Damage: Around 70-80. Decreases HP for 6 seconds.
This knocks you back as the default one.

theres already ice and fire nades though. unless this gunz server doesn't have them. was on IJJI/aeria. they were gonna release poison and lightning as well, but idk how they planned on makin em

We will look at how the rest of the elements look like with this animation, but I self am quite sure the electric animation will be different ;).

Btw best idea ever: to balance the lightning grenade out, you said the nade knocks back, so have the knock back be pretty far and random a bit, and have the stun follow afterwards, so where you will end up and be stunned will be a but unpredictable right away. This way, its not massive stun in a can. Because with massive you hit stun an opponent, and follow up. If you cant easily follow up, should be okay. Because a stun is a stun, even if a bit shortened.

If I can remember there is not a real knock back or simply no knock back with this grenade.
All it does is apply a stun on you (like a massive).

Tbh I like the skull idea, but I don't like the yellow one myself when you are ingame so we probly swap them all back to an original nade with the element glow added onto it.

i dont support the lightning stun nade. Should have something else to it. Like random knock back or maybe delay when the shock takes effect. Could get hit and take dmg, slash shot around and randomy get shock stunned a few seconds after the nade went off- lingering effect. Maybe make the lightning nade work like: certain percentage chance for opponents hit by nade to be shock stunned. The higher level the nade, the higher the chance. Because I can tell you from now, inwill be like shotgun stale gameplay seen everywhere, the lightning grenade will trump the rest, maybe not the posion one. Maybe make all the element nades just deal regular nade damage, but in half and also just have a percentage chance to apply their extra effects. Sounds better to me.

I was thinking making the grenade knock you back first, while in air: the animation would be applied. This ensures from people not to be "lamed" while stunned. It's pretty easy to stun someone -> and shoot him twice with a shotgun.

when someone gets massived with electricity and stunned by a melee weapon, they get knocked back, slide away first and all sorts of things before the shock takes effect, but people still get followed up by spam. I just had an idea, just because lightning all this time has been a stun does not mean it should be a stun, you guys can be creative and imagine what else lightning can do to players. It could be a type of paralysis that makes you unable to move on and off for maybe 5 seconds and everytime you are unable to move, you see lightning around you like we see on Super saiyan 2 lol. So you take a few steps, dash twice to run away, but suddenly you're shocked again and stop moving (the shock doesn't stun you, just stops you).

Maybe could even make it so these grenades are "meGAA DANGEROUS!" So, when a player switches to these grenades, if they hold them for too long, they could randomly have a chance to explode, or maybe when thrown, have a chance to explode in your face or before they reach an opponent. So with that, make them truly OP, make their effects be true and don't limit them if this is the case. So, have the lightning grenade actually stun people then. But over all I think lightning shouldn't be a stun since we have massives for that but that's too late cuz maiet made it so. but ye, review these ideas o-o

This is a real smart and cool idea.

I'll think of another way to make the grenade more stylish. It's practically based on the default things, I'd want something different to happen. Something original.

on topic: with gunz the duel, gotta think like oh maybe do this so theres options for people to come out of something that would be considered cheap without those extra options. But reality, there should be counters to things players can do, that makes the game more fun and you game devs can be free with ur ideas, as long as their is a counter. But you can't switch to melee weapon and right click to flip, flipping a grenade into the air and having it explode in air or slash it with PRECISE TIMING, right before it hits you, defusing it. yea exactly, but the problem im saying is that gunz is limited in actions, like there needs to be possibilities for counters to almost anything to be a legit game. Not saying for fgunz to do anything about it, just something I noticed. I have one secret awesome mega solution to something that is not essay long, actually just one or 2 sentences, shud include me on game design team/make game design team :D mic sic where u at. U know that guy in the mentalist, the tv show, Patrick jane. jejejeje, just a consultant lol. But yea, if you could deflect nades, would be epic. Basicly this is just ad addon to the game, not basing if it is op or sure good.
More of adding a way to make it more fun/difficult to play your average DM, TDM and what not.

In a fun sense, this would be great to use. I'd use it often.

You just add and add things and watch them over run the game and become popular becauase there is no target from intended gameplay to be meta gameplay, no scene besides things around clanwar idk. don't wanna go over that again, anyway... It's not that we are going add too much damage or a overtimed stun.
There will be no tier 1, 2 or 3 element grenades like the sword enchants, infact I think the damage and stun will be based on tier 1 enchant of ijji (stats).

aight b. but, if yall include me, I can really help. Wouldn't have to go by trial and error by starting from just weak grenade and move up. Also, wouldn't want something like this to happen: the other grenade items and mines etc become trumped and element grenades are seen as better therefore, item meta = element nades in the future. wouldn't want that rite. But not saying u guys gonna do that. but yea I could help a lot o-o. think about gunz too much to not be included lol.
