Spiking problem.

Hello, I have a problem im spiking hard ingame idk why.its my first time. 2week ago my fgunz didnt lag..
Is it my connection?

Are you connected to the internet via wireless or wired connection?

also, which OS are you running?

wireless
windows 7 professinel

okay, so for my first attempt at fixing this.

im guessing that your spiking because of WZC Auto config, even when your PC is connected to the internet your pc still searches for avaliable ones and that generally causes a spike.

1. Click Start
2. Open Run
3. Search Services.msc
4. Scroll to the bottom and right click Wireless Zero Config and click properties
5. On the first tab [ General ] you will see halfway down the page Startup Type.
6. Change the Startup Type to manual.
7. Below that you will see 4 buttons. Start Stop Pause and Resume, Click Stop.
8. Apply and save the settings.

You may or may not have to repeat this process to first connect to the internet when you start your pc, then stop the service once you've connected to the internet as your pc will not be searching for wireless networks , Depends on your Wireless Routers software.

Does everyone do it at once? even just a ping spike [ for everyone ] and no character jumps, if they do, then you spike also.

if not, then they l3g.

You can always reset your router / fix ports.

They don't lagg neither do I. My mate said they were not spike nor was I and yet I saw them flying around the map ;s

Change router? I think.

open task manager > go to services.
