Make sgs have 1000 delay

Sgs in here are 850 delay. I don't really see the reason to implement this other than having higher spam and promoting people to buy donors which if you ask me is a pretty lame reason. Sgs have always been 1k delay and the 850 delay sgs here make you able to triple rs which is annoying af which actually means that spamming is more viable than doing fancy kstyle moves. If you don't wanna make sgs 1k delay can you at least make it 1k delay in cw because I'm pretty sure the majority of cw community would actually like it to be 1k delay since most of them were playing during ijji.

That would make them change delays on most other items cause theyre really low compared to ijji also. If they only nerf sg delays, people would abuse other weapons

Nope,people buy donors for a reason,so they could have an advantage. Anyways,the damage is still the same when you to level 70+. You just have to cope up with the speed.

There's a difference between 850 delay,spamming and speed. You just have to learn how to aim perfectly and it will be great if you're a non-donor.

I completely agree. I've said it before, walk(rs)spam/potshot beats out most options and it's such a nuisance. the play style that's been created is boring and cringe worthy but EH they won't change it.

Also yeah, it would screw with the whole balance of the rest of the nondonor shotguns at least, it doesn't much affect the other types of ranged weps. they'd have to rebalance all the other shotguns. idk it's just a mess but 850 delay is so dumb and not meant to be, I was thinking about this earlier

what's your point? two people with great aim, one with nondonor 1000 delay and one with donor 850. the donor wins because his aim rivals his opponent, and his 3rd/4th/5th shots all come out first

900 is still pretty fast.. I'd say 950 at least, 1000 optimal. my ideal would be 6clip/1000 + 5clip/950, but that's besides the point. I'd say most 200coin should be 950 and limit 1000

while i agree with the general idea, i think other weps will be abused. some sprays/other items are OP atm

This is an awesome idea. CW would be so much more without people spamming Limit and other donors. 950 to 1000 delay would be best.

I've discussed this with many people ingame including some staff members. about 80% of the people i've talked to agree that 950 for $10 sg's and 1000 for things like limitbreaker would bring a better balance and less spamming so i do agree with what has been said here.

Okay good. So then the difference between 850 -> 900 is .02 of a second.

I don't think the effect would be noticeable but would require a pretty large edit to the zitem (to rebalance all shotguns if this happens to any).
I'm also eliminating the possibility of donors being at a 1 second delay. (hah no)

I think FGunZ is rather balanced in TTK time, because it also has to be considered that donors are technically above level 99 equipment but accessible from any level. Thus they have to be strong but they are not unkillable at all. Seem's fair to me.

You believe that it doesn't make a big difference? Okay, say that to people who play fighting games professionally and are precise at punishing up to a single frame (1/60th of a second).

I think donor shotguns weren't made for spamming it was simply for the more better damage reason o.o

Donors used to have the same delay as bounty shotguns up until v7 where donors received a delay change and red donator shotties were nerfed to the floor.

It got even worse with the introduction of Limitbreaker.

Sounds to me that non-donors just dont like the fact that donors have a slight delay advantage (When the delay is canceled by reloading anyway) Therefore, this conversation is null and void.

After all, how many times have people seen Naked players, completely dominating other players that are geared in full donor. It is all based upon your skill in playing the game, do not cry over menial things.

That's not how RS works.

Regardless, the game is based purely upon the players ability to press the keys and aim with the mouse, your skill does not come from SG's or their delays, they are factors, but not a big enough factor to actually affect anyone who is actually any good. Naked Players with Rusty and B3, can easily 3 shot a Fully Geared donor with Limit and Genesis. It simply depends on you're level of skill.

Bro, you're talking to me. Someone who can beat you on a daily basis.

Now I'll explain to you:
When you shoot the gun still keeps the delay even though you cancel it's animation with a reload that's why your third shot with a shotgun happens slightly later than normal because the delay still hasn't ended. With 1000 delay you have to wait for your third shot while with 800/850 it's basically uniform. Hence it is a big factor because it decreases the timing of your 3rd/4th shots. If both players aim and hit the same amount of times the player with the lower delay will win because his shots will simply come out faster.

Come in game, i will show you how to cancel the delay and speed up your third and forth shots, also a way to make your SECOND shot about 100ms faster than the delay the shotgun shows.
Its all in the moves you know, and the combinations between them.

i'm on the char Explode atm, whisp me and i'll show u, its actually a very simple trick. I'll prove it to you :) Just like i can prove theres a style that has no dashes other than gear taps.

You can "cancel" the delay only slightly by altering the timing of the first and second shot but reload shot will never be as fast as it is with 800/850 delay.

This is true, but what i am speaking of is the fact that theres other ways than just altering your timing, such as with a reload shot, jump dash slash shoot reload, dont move, switch shoot reload, will make your second shot faster than the shotguns delay, which will also let your next jump animation be canceled by a silent blink dash to chain into BSLD

Exactly, you can alter the timing. Guess what the person with the lower delay can do so as well and he'll still be faster. So yes, delay does matter.

Its not altering the Timing, its altering the delay with animation canceling. A jump after reload shot with a slash shot will FORCE you to silent dash as if you were HSing, another reason some people dont understand why they tumble after trying to LD and they slash too soon after their jump

The problem is that the low delay basically makes it so that doing anything but rs less than optimal.

So lets show these kids how to improve their movement. Instead of worrying about delay and hitting, worry about movements, which have more combinations than offensive attacks.
