Yeah, so if anyone still remembers me, i quit a while ago..but anyways; I'm back !
So i downloaded it and then when I press "Start Game" nothing happens. No error and I watch my processes to see if anythings opening and closing .. nothing.
Any idea ? :s

Upload mlog.txt and NOP.log in your gunz folder.
If you don't have them, say so.
where would they be? i don't think I have them... all I see is NOP.dll? but that's different isnt' it?

Lol this use to happen to me. What you need to do is update your drivers!. get a driver updateing program.

I have windows service pack 2... maybe if I get service pack 3 it will work? just a random thought...

Drivers, operating system, anti-virus, gunz, etc. If you don't update, it's your own fault.
Well back when i had Windowx XP i used the driver genuis or w.e its called and i updated and the next thing i know. Gunz works again 0_0 LOL. Try it. it just might work =].
Fgunz worked on my comp in older versions of it <_< I don't know what drivers would be significant to update... but OK I'll start looking

lol. When i had this error i just downloaded some driver updating progam. i updated and all of a sudden it worked!

alright guys I updated to service pack 3, downloaded all of the drivers I needed, and still no dice. What is up? I don't know why I'm missing the required files to run the game. The svchost.exe is running in the processes but not under applications... I don't know whether this is helpful information or not but I need some help to get gunz working again :\ I mean I've tried all I know how to do. I updated my os and drivers, restarted, redownloaded, reinstalled, restarted, and still it doesn't work. The client seems to be starting svchost.exe when I press start game with no problem but I see nothing on the screen. It just runs like a background process how fix?

we have the files, its obviously something with our systems, we're missing something or something along those lines, what, no one knows. Most likely not something with wowus's anti-virus because if so it would close it out, my computer works with ijji so its something specifically to fgunz, what we are working on, please be patient as wowus is trying to get all the bugs out of the system.Quote:

I also wonder if you have some check running in intervals, I notice a frame jump about every 15-20 seconds and FGunz is the only server it happens in.
I've noticed recently iexplorer runs in the background sometimes and eats up like 20% of my cpu...and it plays audio sometimes rofl. Im assuming its a virus...anything to do with this ? ;s

ijji works fine for me. I've done virus scans on top of everything else I've done and it still doesn't work... :\ I'm like the only one using XP having this error?
