Weapon drop and pick up (will be ammo not the weapon)

Drop your gun

Suggestion description:
The idea is that when you kill a player, he drops the weapon he was using(Counter-Strike 1.6 style) and you can pick it up and use it. I know it sounds like GunGame but it sounds cool, I don't know :o.o
Lets say you(level 45) kill a player(level 80) and he drops his rifle. You pick it up and you can use it(even if it's a level 80 rifle) until you die. After that, you'll respawn with the guns you were using when you first joined the game.
Make it a gamemode or a roomtag?

Like counter strike?

If its a gamemode then fine, dont add it in general though

Silent and Jetman worked on something (similar) to this recently. I'm sure they'll make a thread. From what they showed me it's really ****ing cool.

I like the idea, But as a game mode besidee like hex said there is something similair.
But still GunZ with pick up and so on would be a cool game mode. Atleast something different from what we have now.

For many reasons i wont get into we don't have plans on making a feature where players drop their weapons and you can pick them up. However we do have something else related to weapons planned which is mostly completed, just a few details to polish up.

i think its a bad idea . im afraid i disagree :O

This exact thing will not be implemented but something very similar will be. When someone is killed they will drop some ammo depending on how much they had left that can be picked up. The feature itself is essentially completed, expect to see this in V8.
