FGunZ: Big Bang Update! (August 21st, 2012)
Hello Freestylers!

It's time for the next update - The Big Bang Update!

This update includes:
- New room modifier: Infinite Ammo [IA]
- New game mode: Capture The Flag (CTF)
- Damage counter. The damage dealt shows automatically at the end of a round in a TDM
- Optimized anti-lead networking for increased accuracy and efficiency
- Fixed HP/AP not reaching its maximum in random cases
- Fixed clan war glitch (permanently)
- Fixed nomsg bug after deleting config.xml
- Fixed crosshair randomly disappearing in replays
- Fixed /cw command not working as intended
- Fixed some issues with Windows 8
- Fixed launcher downloading incomplete files with a success message
- Added chat timestamps

And thank SecretsOfThePast for helping him with CTF.
And.. not to forget Wucas for the flag model & animation!

This update also includes:
- Major Interface Changes. A whole new FGunZ unique Interface with exclusive HD components //Thanks to Ironic for his basic interface designs and styles (main designer of the fgunz.net website)

- Updated Map Banners. Now colored and better. //Thanks to StephanM
- More Item Thumbnails (in Shop/Inventory)

All team-gamemodes were bugged, we'll have to fix them tomorrow.
[IA] was bugged as well, as it didn't let you reload.

We have rolled the gunz.exe update back, until we patch all bugs tomorrow.

I knew the Damage Meter wasnt working properly, but to confirm it, it said me and my team did:
I dealt 35 damage
My team did 35 damage
-It was a 2v1, we killed the other person, so its saying the other person was 70 hp 0 ap?

Didnt take screenshot sorry, but trust me, its not working properly.

Btw, when u fix that you should add it in clan war too.

I recommend the damage meter shows all the damage each teamate did and not only mine, and the other teamates damage together.

He still used it, I asked Linear to not change the textures until it was released to the public either, I then look on SOTP video and everything is recolored.

Can't say I was thrilled tbh.

If you want to create your own animations, great, but I put hours of time into those, along with a lot of research on stuff Hellsniper hadn't even understood yet, then all my wishes are totally ignored.

Oh yeah, totally forgot about that.. Thanks for adding him. :)

HellSniper is currently working on a new flag model and animation, we'll see if it works out.

Sorry for changing the font texture, I was trying to make it stand out somehow while McSic was away.

Also, for those with an antivirus issue (AVG): Add "fgunz.net" to the Online Shield exceptions.
I'll try to get that fixed ASAP.

There's currently a bug in the anti-lead which lets you crash every now and then - and another bug which crashes you at the scoreboard randomly, we'll apply an update to fix that soon.
We'll also try to fix the false-positives from appearing more often.

- various (crash-)bugfixes done by Linear88
- updated damage counter by Linear88
- updated CTF by Linear88
- new map "Canal_Town" by HellSniper
- Halo map glitch fixed by Pickachuuuu
- removal of unplayed maps
- slight interface changes
- new login animation by HellSniper
- increased 1-hit-kill and 2-hit-kill damage

Could you post your launcherlog.txt? And are you sure your Launcher.exe is not being blocked by your firewall or anti-virus software?

AVG is one of the worst anti virus programs :3 I would uninstall it and get something better. Some times AVG removes stuff you need and never gets the stuff you really need out.
