Had it before wasn't super, only if you have a big start with say max x10 exp it could work, the issue here is that it should not get too big before Jagex would sue us, unless you have certain paperwork for it.
x10 exp rates are good, usually I go for x15. Could start with just all PVP with spawning till server gets more acceptable to be a economy type deal. But Jagex only comes after people who are making profit off it. Also Jagex are in the works of being sold, since China Miners are in process of buying out the entire company. There are some big servers out there with like 200-500 people and haven't been shut down.Quote:

I would play providing there was a good amount of players pull, the RS community amoungst FGunZ is relatively small and trying to build a new player base with the current server like Ikov etc would be hard

I'd play it. It would be fun to see how long it'd take us to start up a small economy, when osrs first came out it was so hard to make money, curious how long it'll take us. given the fact theres probably 20-30 players max.

Well I have a RS3 Server, thats revision 865. Almost a finished product. This could be a legacy only deal, and no EOC. I offered both, but the OSRS server would need alot of time and work to get up and running. Since it's a very very basic framework. On the other hand the RS3 Server is pretty much done in some sections. There is some stuff that needs to be fixed or added, but it's not as much as the osrs server base need's done.Quote:

The NXT C++ client will be a addition to the server, since it will run 100x better then the JAVA Client. The first beta for this client, they didn't obfuscate the client; Giving everyone an opportunity to use this client for an RS3 RSPS. Hopefully in the future much won't change so we can use this for Freestylers Scape ;).
To everyone who don't know what NXT is, it's basically a new game client; coded in C++ and runs a lot smoother then the current java client. With upgraded shadows and textures and much more. The gameplay still feels the same.

Sure. I have past experience working with RSPS'. Wrote an entire server backend in Django + REST a few weeks ago. Makes managing the server a whole lot easier.
