FGunZ Update // March 7, 2016 (New Anti-Lead, Damage-Counter and more)
Hey Freestylers,
we have a wonderful update for you today.
Client
- A brand new anti-lead, uses less bandwidth and is more accurate than the old one.
- A brand new damage counter, up to 100% accuracy!
- Fixed FPS limiter issues.
- Added "/forcenat" command which will force all your traffic through the server (instead of Peer2Peer). If you're paranoid of your IP being grabbed, you can use this command to hide it. Note that it may not work flawless for some players, causing agent errors.
- Chatfilter option which will allow you to enable or disable censorship.
- Roomtags are now no longer useable in both Challenge Quest and Normal Quest.
- The /removepassword command can now be used by the room master.
- If a player leaves a game while a vote kick is going on, the player will automatically be kicked for an hour.
- Several fixes to challenge quest.
- Several fixes to the MP3 player.
- Spawn points of CTF flags fixed in Citadel and Dojo.
- Joining/starting games should be slightly faster. You will notice that the loading screen will now fade in and out.
- Added Damage Counter display mode options. You can now have the damage displayed in the top right, on the scoreboard, or both.
- Kicks now apply to all characters on your account.
Items
- Rebalanced Sniper Rifles, they now deal less damage the closer you are (the damage/distance ratio will be adjusted in the next patches).
- The delay and range of daggers have been slightly adjusted.
- The damage of all kodachis has been lowered in order to compromise with the block animation change.
- The models of all training melee weapons have been updated.
- The model of the FreestylersWorld sword has been updated.
- A new level 99 big sword: Gunbai.
- A new item for VIP members: Soda. It will heal 10 * 6 HP/AP (= 60 HP/AP) with a delay of 200. This item can be bought in the VIP shop here.
Anti-Lead Features by S1lent
- Time rewind lag compensation.
- Operates reliably at extreme pings up to 900.
- Supports bullets and pellets.
- Supports explosives.
- Melee anti-lead component available for selected gametypes (e.g. infected).
- Distance is anti-lead (used for explosives and snipers).
- (Custom) Outgoing shot history.
- (Custom) Incoming shot history.
- (Custom) Movement history.
- (Custom) Hitbox history.
- Two sided hit verification (attacker and victim).
- Anti Nstep.
- Shotgun pellet packing.
- Single packet per character hit.
- Anti packetloss mechanism.
- Resistant to ping spikes.
- Resistant to fps fluctuations.
- Packet delivery acknowledgement.
- Training Weapons do not use anti-lead (conserves bandwidth and processing).
- Hits on players that cannot be damaged does not use anti-lead (ex: team mates with friendly fire off, conserves bandwidth and processing).
- Modified client to client time synchronization so that it always stays in sync.
- Immune to alt tab causing time desynchronization between clients.
- Modified incoming hit alert to only alert when damaged.
Damage-Counter Features by S1lent
- Only counts actual damage done to an enemy player.
- Functions in anti-lead and lead.
- Works on all weapon types.
- Reduced network usage (compared to the previous version).
- Greater precision (displays decimal values for certain weapons such as rocket hits).
