Add Gunz.exe and Launcher.exe (or the FGunZ folder) to the exception list of your anti-virus software and make sure to run the Launcher as Administrator!

Hey Freestylers,

It's time for the next update!

This update took longer than usual because we have combined it with a large server maintenance (and our host was unusually slow today).

FGUNZ UPDATE // 15 AUG 2019

• Various small optimizations, crash fixes and bug fixes
  
  
• Fixed Humans VS Infected alt-tab crashes
  
  
• Enhanced Replay System: Added replay time bar and you can now jump forward/back 10sec in replays by pressing the buttons you use to increase/decrease mouse sens ingame (you can assign those buttons ingame)
  (Be aware that if you jump forward/back too much the replay might appear a little glitchy until you restart the replay)
  
  
• Implemented the new and improved shotgun spray for more consistency
  -> More consistency and a fair distribution of pellets and damage
  -> During testing this spray was known as SG434

Although we've decided that this spray is the best, you can still play with other shotgun sprays if you wish:
-> If you wish to play with the old fgunz spray you can write SGV at the beginning of the room title
-> If you wish to play with the old vanilla gunz spray you can write SGV2 at the beginning of the room title
-> Or you can test other shotgun sprays by writing SG(followed by 3 numbers) as explained in the last update thread


SHOTGUN REBALANCE

We have rebalanced all shotguns (together with the new spray) to make the game more fair, competitive and less P2W.

We want all shotgun types (Light/Standard/Heavy) to be useful while none of them are OP.

These are the new shotgun stats:

All shotguns are 15 weight and have a reload time of 2.0 seconds.

Standard Shotguns: 5 clips

• Lvl 0: 1100 Delay, 8 Dmg
• Lvl 20: 1050 Delay, 8 Dmg
• Lvl 40: 1000 Delay, 8 Dmg
• Lvl 60: 950 Delay, 8 Dmg
• Lvl 80: 1100 Delay, 9 Dmg
• Lvl 90/Event/Donator100c: 1050 Delay, 9 Dmg
• Donator 200c: 1000 Delay, 9 Dmg
• Legendary: Limitbreaker/Tourny SG: 950 Delay, 9 Dmg

So bassically the difference between 200 coins donator shotgun and 750 coins limit breaker 50 delay (Rare shotgun) thats hiliarious..
Most of the players were baited I believe.., I'm not talking about the balance .. but if we all knew this would happen none would waste 1k coins or 2k coins to get lbx for 50 delay bonus.. the balance is good everything is okay but it's not how to do it..

Nice update! Can we get (in maybe next update) good quest items aswell? Like a legendary double MG or something? Ty for update!

Though I do appreciate the hard word, making lb and lbx and tourney Sgs and even your new legendary sgs similar to 200 coins she after we spent so many coins on them is outrageous... it’s different if it had an extra shot or two but there’s nothing beneficial but 50 delay. To a competitive player, delay doesn’t mean much to me. Just shots or dmg. Like I said, thanks for the update and hard work but nerfing the main weapons that your community has fiend for is kind of backwards.

Revolver accuracy not balanced, skins on shotguns are copies of CSGO skins, shotgun balance basically threw everyones money into the gutter.
I personally haven't paid a single penny into the game but when you make the difference between the premium box that takes quite the amount of tries to get and the non donor or even reliably obtained donors 50-100 delay, you balanced it out for new players and basically made people regret the decision of obtaining the LBs(which are practically not worth paying to get anymore).

S H L shotguns are still a thing as well, Heavy shotguns are completely unused, light shotguns are currently pointless given you can just get lvl 90 bounty shotguns that are good enough(the delay is a + but really not worth anything at this point if you're making people pay for it).

This seems rather odd, since people have been used to 10 dmg [S] shotguns for a long time now. In fact, these stats would further deter players from using heavy shotguns because -2 clip and +50 delay (compared to previous LB/LBX stats) isn't very appealing - let alone stacking 2 heavy shotguns. These models look good but the revolver accuracy has been poor since the v8 update, so there's not much of a reason for some players to try and obtain them. Will there be changes to the accuracy in the future?

Should not judge the shotgun damage if you didn't test it with the new spray yet. During testing we've decided that regular shotguns should not go above 9 dmg (8 dmg felt even better) let alone single heavys above 10.

It's definitely possible that the accuracy of revolvers gets improved in future.

Not exactly copies though. The models are from GunZ, the textures aren't and I had to draw parts of the textures myself to make them look good with our models :o.o (not to forget the designs are too sexy to only be available in csgo)

The SG tag was to test different spread, we were not told anything about the fact that the weapons would be nerfed. The damage/spread ration was perfect testing spread before this update with SG 424. Making LB/LBX basically the same as regular donor SG is a big slap in the face of the people that spent 1k-2k and even more than that for them. I am also noticing you guys aren't responding to the people who are bringing up this issue and instead only responding to others .

It's good that you guys have legendary items for a wider range of weapons now.
EB and I have mentioned this, but please push up revolver accuracy asap.
Perhaps gives us a motive to actually get them and reliably 4-5 shot people(when are you really full health in a cw).

SGs are good and balanced now. I think just heavies need a bit of love and get 1 more clip.

There have been countless threads / posts where users have discussed shotguns / limitbreakers and even those users that have limitbreakers asked for them to be nerfed as 10 damage was too much. There's really no need to keep discussing it. Be aware that any items can always undergo change including donation and lucky box items, it is no different in other games. And we are striving to level the playing field which, generally speaking, is always a good thing.

Yes, leveling the playing field is one thing, but basically telling people that the money they spent on the luckybox was pointless, they could have gotten all of the other donor shop SG for the same amount they spent on that luckybox and had the same damage, but 50 more delay(Which isn't really a major factor) that delay is basically Null.

So tell me what is my motivation now to get the new luckybox weapon when its just going to be nerfed in a later update? Aesthetics?

Limitbreakers shouldn't have come out in the state that they came out in the first place. It was a total ****ing turn-off for all new players because the dmg gap was a huge deterrence. I'm glad we got rid of this cancer.

How are you so sure the new lucky box items are getting nerfed the next patch? If you dislike it then just don't buy it lmao. Legit the spread and the balancing of the shotguns etc has been talking about in many threads, how about you go read those first before commenting stuff you clearly have no idea about first.

Anything can get nerfed (or buffed) anytime.

There's a simple saying; If you can't afford it, don't buy it.

Besides; As we give out lucky boxes every day to active users (see activity rewards), you can get the luckybox weapons without ever spending anything on them.

How do we not know that its going to happen again, when it just has??? My Reasoning is based off of what has happened, not what has been talked about. We were warned of a change in spread. This happened. We were not warned of a change in LBs Dmgs in the update.

So how am I not supposed to assume that a weapon I would get from a luckybox will not get nerfed when it JUST HAPPENED? Tell me that Mike.

Idc in the long run so long as lb and lbx are not useless but it’s kind of what’s happened. 50 delay is nothing in terms of a difference. Any delay lower than 50 would set fg back on track to the old shitty 850 delay days. What he’s asking is for you to understand it from a consumer’s side as wel: some ppl spent money on coins. Some cwed for them. Some got gifted. Lb and lbx were guns that were set at the pinnacle of fg’s sgs. Now, they’re close to shop 200 c items? A lot and I mean ALOT of ppl could’ve saved their time, energy, and money by just getting those. So long as I don’t do 10 dmg pbs I’m grateful for the update but like I said, just look at the bigger picture bro before u attck him xD

But they did and fg has made a profit from them for years now... if that was the case, it would’ve been fixed a while ago but hasn’t been. I complained about Duelisto when they first released. I complained about limitbreaker so have a lot of people when it released. It wasn't fixed because it supported the server but now when server is dying there's no point in keeping a barrier to entry based on money.

Like I said bro.. if they truly want to save fg and get a huge populous of players back, make fg like qg. That’s the one thing competitive players have longed for since it’s been gone. Just don’t make a change that impacts those who’ve spent their time getting those weapons. It’s a smack in the face for most. Granted I play fg for cw and don’t want it to be truly unbalanced. Just want the lb and lbx to mean something going forward.

You guys have very strong opinions without having tested the new update thoroughly. The new spread kills people way faster, the damage reduce was necessary so you don't have a 3 shot fest left right n center.

People used to complain about how OP lb's are and now that its more balanced you are complaining that its too balanced? Literally no middle ground with you people.

I'd say try the update out for a few hours and then state your opinion, you are making yourself sound like a fool atm.

I think the update is good, brings out more variety, no more lb's everywhere

Glad to see a re-balance for the limitbreakers finally happened, myself personally if i was playing would use 2 [L] shotguns for the extra 2 bullets gained over using Lb / LBx especially in team situations.

Everyone complaining, it's simple, drastic changes are needed like "throwing your money into the gutter" in order to save what's left of FGunZ, if this doesn't happen then the server closes due to lack of motivation to appease a very small player baser then that truely would be "throwing your money into the gutter".

- Don't need use donation shotguns now. Just use shop items.
- Have 1 more clip for both Limit Breaker and Limit Breaker X

stick to sittin in training rooms or playin vs quest mobs who are at ur skill lvl

Great update, also can you make it easier to get activity points by changing the amount of hours needed to play from 3 hours to 2 hours? spending 3 hours a day for an activity point seems too much in my opinion especially if all the activity points reset if you don't play one day.

I like the updates tho! Atleast i woudnt try hard enough to get LB tho! ���� thanka for the updates��

It's so funny that everyone has been complaining about lb and lbx being too op and ruining the game but now that it's balanced everyone complains about that instead. I think people that are complaining here are those (like me) spend way too much in getting the guns in the past to now have it reduced to be similar like donation gun. I mean players spend so much for a weapon stat like how us consumer purchase an item for that "particular" reason and you changing it now there will definitely be players be angry. It's inevitable.

50 less in delay with 1 more in damage. Again, they balanced them and you're complaining because you CHOSE to spend money on a weapon (that is still better) when you were never forced to do so. Spending that money was your choice, you could have earned coins EASILY in-game with all the activity stuff we got going on.

Atleast you still bring updates from time to time, so I have to give you that.

I do not see any problems at the moment with the time I have played so far..
Even though I use a light shotgun that has 8 dmg I still manage to do enough dmg.

I don't have 2x LB to feel the difference but so far so good..

I notice that a lot of people are complaining about the lb/lbx and tourney sg changes. They are too close to the 200c and non donor shotguns so players dont see a reason in getting them anymore and the people that got them feel dissapointed. Some player I have talked to said that they will be fine if they get 6 shots instead of 5, to at least have some difference between the 200c and non donor shotguns. This way they they are still worth getting, without disrupting the L and H classes. So the stats will be 6x5, 9dmg and 950 delay. This is just a suggestion and this doesn't mean it is guaranteed to change. But do you guys agree with this suggestion?

sensitivity cannot be that number:
for example 543, ingame i set it 543 sens and when i open it again it turn out to be 542 or 540..
please fix this

or I just got an idea you know how on ijji pioneer use2 be the only shotgun with 6 so considering alot of people already bought lb or have it already and people are just 'newly' getting lbx or whatever which aint even true but you could just make lbx have 1 extra pellet so 6 and lb the same as lbx with lb so we can have that pioneer effect.. and will help have people a difference and know their money didnt go to waste.. maybe a vote thread for this?

just a suggestion in general i think everythings perfect right now i havent even played and just by reading the update notes its how it should be.. but this is the only work around i can think of without getting too over the top and retarded as it use2 be

updates the best ive seen this server have. Shots don't do 100 damage across map anymore and shotguns are balanced. Only ones complaining are the ones who need multiple advantages to play with shotguns

That +1 dmg you mention is not really relevant cause from lvl 80 which is pretty easy to get all the sgs have the same dmg.
The lbs only have 50 delay over the donor sgs nad like 100-150 over normal sgs which is pretty useless imo i can understand people who spend a lot of money to get them are mad.

I'm not trying to discuss your point of view but my own, you're just contradicting yourself as you don't seem to have a point other than it's not worth it, because I've already explained how I believe it is and you've had no valid counter argument for it.

You seem to take things a bit too literal, the quester part was to the complainers overall, the troll part sure was just for you for the reason I've already stated above.

Downloaded FGunZ briefly to play to see how the pellet pattern and re-balance of shotguns performed and I'd give it an A++. People need to get off this high horse about how they've donated X amount for their weapons, which means they should hold an advantage, because if you truly believe that then you shouldn't be playing a TPS shooter, games such as GunZ are based on skill, muscle memory, hand eye coordination, ability to move your fingers fast around the keyboard that it would make a nun cream in their panties, not based on I spent money so I should have an advantage over everyone else who hasn't spent money, look at today's biggest games, everything which is purchasable is merely cosmetic and that's because they know any P2W feature will kill their game slowly. Back when FGunZ had a competitive scene and players from other servers were coming to play, there's one thing that always occurred and that was the mentioning/suggesting of "balance", being the richer person shouldn't give you an advantage, it should come down to who's willing to put the time/hard work in to be the better player. Everyone has the ability to be the best, it just a matter of putting in the time/work, however not everyone has the money to be the best which is essentially those who are complaining about the re-balance is banging on about, y'all want an advantage because you spent some money on a game, instead of looking at it that way, look at it as you've paid for Dave's new car tyres or McSic new television instead, nah jokes aside think about it as you've helped keep the server up and running for so long, even when the play count has dropped over the years Dave & McSic have kept things running smoothly for y'all, they could shut the server at any time and wouldn't have to give anyone a reason as to why. If y'all wanna complain how you spent X amount for X shotgun and now X shotgun is on par with X shotgun which cost X amount less then how about we start looking into donation logs and give those who donated $100 a bigger advantage over someone who spent only $10 and then repeat give those who spent $200 an even bigger advantage over those who spent $100.

Rant over, balance is good, don't change shit.

It is better, but that would technically also be the case if the delay were 990 vs 1000 compared to the 200c shotguns. But does 1000->950 make a practical difference in gameplay? Nope, not unless you walk and potshot all the time.

Fair play is ideal, I'm all for it; but what we're trying to say is that it could use some further tweaks. Currently, a combination of God Complex (6 clip/850 delay/8 damage) and the donor [L] shotgun (6 clip/900 delay/8 damage) sounds more appealing than Limitbreakers (especially if the new spread is as good as some say), and enable people to effortlessly be lame and potshot all the time (similar to the v7 days). The difference from 1000+1000 delay shotguns -> 950+950 is negligible but a combination of 850+900 delay certainly makes an impact on the gameplay. So, when [L] shotguns have gotten noticeably better, shouldn't the Limitbreakers retain some of their novelty rather than just being practically the same as 200c shotguns? The activity stuff is fairly recent, so people have grinded and obtained those shotguns with a lot more difficulty or money in the past.

Again, I'm not saying LBs should be OP, but people feel they should be better than what they are now. And isn't that what these discussions are for?

Is it unfair for donors to expect that their special items remain special? It has always been the case on FGunz, ever since the release of Limitbreaker.
Not OP, but better in a meaningful way. I get that stats can be buffed/nerfed at any time, but you should also be able to see why players don't welcome this particular change.

Since everyone's riled up I'll give my two cents on this as well.
First things first. I've played on the new update and the game feels a lot better now. Hits are more consistent, damage was scaled down all around, reducing the amount of bullshit 2 shots. And as such increasing my overall gaming experience.

The update balanced the current weapon arsenal thoroughly. Lowering the amount of "pay to win" while still keeping the donors slightly stronger with a better aesthetics.

People seem to have delusions about delay not affecting your speed unless you're walking or potting. Which is not entirely true. There are a lot of things where you can benefit from this. I myself love adding an extra reload shot after a move to get in that extra damage and a bit of that unpredictability. (Plus those niche situations where you both only have a single shotgun with ammo you can fire faster than your opponent thus giving you the competitive edge.

Objectively the damage on the limitbreakers was too high. And this obviously had to be addressed. Was there a better way to do it? Maybe, not a single good suggestion has been posted on this thread yet though.

Is the item still special?
If you ask me, yes. Funny how the people talking about it no longer special talk about how it's so hard to get. So your argument is basically that the items specialty is tied to its availability. Didn't see any of you here rioting when they started to give free coins for basically everything. Free lucky boxes. Recycling your lucky box items for coins. Making the item more available, thus by your logic less special. Just my thoughts though.

About revolvers; Making revolvers 100% accurate would be a terrible idea if we were to keep the revolvers in their current condition. If we are to make revolvers more accurate the damage also has to come down.

Thanks for the great update. Game feels better than ever. And is more balanced than ever.

This is how gunz supposed to be, i got both lb and lbx but this is the best update this server has ever gotten. If theyre still complaining give these questers a sword that does increased damage in quests.

To those who think theres no difference between 950 and 1000 is wrong, it gives you the edge over others if you are skilled enough to feel the game, yes in some cases you wont notice but there is an advantage. Even when we had the combination of 900+850 in v7 you could tell the difference that the 900 delay prevented from spam fest with the other sg (this is how i felt).
That aside, if putting L and S items in comparison and they actually are proven to be unbalanced some tweaking would be good imo.

Appreciate the patch and some nice stuff going on here, although my post that was accepted for the lucky box daggers was accepted for 326 delay daggers not the 346 delay so that's wrong and a bit of an issue, hopefully things can get fixed up regarding one or two issues here

As stated in the patch post it might become glitchy if jumping back/forward too much.
Like if you've seen a character die and then jump forward to a point where that character is fighting it could become a little glitchy.

Looks interesting, I haven't kept up with the whole spread thing since I don't play anymore. At least the shotguns are more close together within their own categories now. Not sure if that's good or bad, but it's a more level playing field now for everyone.

This is exactly what this server needed, great job to the staff.

The previous model meant that new players were matched up against unbalanced shotguns and they'd likely end up quitting by the end of their session. Balancing the shotguns will help competition in the long-run; competition being pretty much what this game has always been about.

Keep it up! Updates like these definitely help the long-term health of the game. Hopefully we'll see that player count hit 200 again

Love the changes, exactly what the community needed, thank you for getting rid of the ridiculous p2w aspect. People are forgetting that this is a private server, and this kind of balance is needed for the game to stay relevant and populated.

I've heard there are some FPS problems with the game freezing/stuttering/crashing. They will be looked into soon and should be fixed by next update.
