Hey i just installed gunz on my laptop today after reformatting it. When i boot up the game after updating it with the launcher i dont see any servers to connect to. Tried deleting the anti virus program from my computer and added an exception in the firewall but still dont see anything even after restarting my router.

Are you using Windows 10? I'm guessing you are, and I am also guessing you are talking about Windows Defender:
You can't delete Windows Defender, but you can disable it, to check if it's been properly disabled, search for "Windows Defender Security Center" and it should look like this:

If it doesn't look like that, then you haven't disabled Windows Defender.

Reinstall the client
disable your anti virus and restart your pc

If you still have an anti-virus, make sure that it is uninstalled, after you uninstall the anti-virus, restart your pc. And when you run fgunz make sure you run it as administrator!
Download Process Explorer from Windows or something like TCPViewer I guess, or check the Firewall settings.
You could download WireShark as well, though I wouldn't say it would not compromise a system if its already vulnerable.
I am sure the server logs generated should give an indication. What that means is the administrators will fix your problems.
Did you ever fix cos im having the same problem uninstalled avast and run launcher as admin still no severs
