When I download the launcher, it works.
The game requires a patch, which downloads.
Launcher says it must restart to complete the patch.
After that all I get is this message:

I am not running a virtual machine.
I have tried a number of fixes ranging compatibility modes to the registry edits people have used when getting this error on actual virtual machines.
Help would be appreciated
