FGunZ Update // 31 MARCH 2022

Hey Freestylers

We're happy to bring you another update.

FGUNZ UPDATE // 31 MARCH 2022

• Improved Anti-Lead
• Increased H-Shotgun delays by 50
• Increased SH-Shotgun delays by 100
• Increased SSH-Shotgun delays by 200
• Fixed replay controls (fast-forward/back)
• Fixed Kodachis block animation being too fast
• Team Chat can now be assigned to a new key (Options > Keyboard > 'Action3' Tab)
• You can now instantly leave the game after starting (if you did not take damage) instead of having to wait 5 seconds
• Disabled HP/AP/Ammo spawns for [GLAD]
• Added "Rusty Melee Stats" room option -> All melee weapons have Rusty Sword stats (Damage, Delay, Range)
• Removed Training Bots room option (Bots are now enabled per default in Training, except for Event Channel)
• Many bug fixes regarding bots
• Added cooldown for certain bot commands
• Added CTF flags for Dungeon II
• Swapped team spawns for Skillmap V5
• Added 4 more solo spawns and 8 team spawns (4 on each side) to PokemonStadium
• Added a few texture sounds that were missing (grass and carpet) to PokemonStadium
• Re-Enabled Relaymap for modes where it was missing (CTF, Turbo)
• Disabled Relaymap in Skillmap Mode
• Removed Skillmaps from Relaymap list
• Adjusted difficulty rating of Skillmap V25 (6 -> 4)
• Added new commands for staff to use in events (timer, blind, hp, ap)
• Quest Clothes damage reduction will now consider cosmetic slots as well. If you have quest clothing equipped in both slots, it will check which piece has more damage reduction and use that for your total damage reduction

NEW ELO SYSTEM

• Completely reworked the new ranked elo system with tiers and badges
• Bronze: 1000+, Silver 1501+, Gold 2001+, Platinum 3001+, Diamond 4001+, Predator 5001+
• We replaced the unused duel tournament rank images with custom badges to represent your tier
• Everyone starts with 1000 elo
• The amount of elo you gain/lose depends on your tier
• The elo system applies to Duel/TDM/CW
• In Duels you gain/lose elo per kill/death
• In TDMs you gain/lose elo per round win/lose, plus you gain/lose some elo per kill/death
• In CWs the elo gain/loss is doubled (compared to TDMs)

I think elo should only be gained/lost by CWing, otherwise ur ELO serves the exact same purpose as your K/D, making it a meaningless stat

We'll see how it works out for now and could change it in future. The plan is to use it for player wars and such.

I'm currently on the server and can see that the elo is not working correctly right now. I'll investigate and push a fix for it soon.

Edit: Pushed the fix. Should be fixed now.

That would be true if people who dueled didnt also play deathmatch/tdm modes where the k/d matters less than in duel. Therefore I think it should still apply for duel.

i think it should stay enabled for tdm/cw/duel, and hopefully this makes sense but i wonder what are people's thoughts if it were to be possible to disable the ELO system in TDMs on maps no one plays "seriously" like garden/mansion since they're mostly just 12-24 player tdms/AND, or else just disable the ELO system when the room has over an 8 player limit or something like that?


edit: also add /rank command that ranks top 10 players?

Thanks for the update!

The default ranking on the website has been adjusted to be based on the elo rating. In addition we moved the previous ranking to its own dedicated ranking page (XP based ranking), this page will now also show the current XP of the player instead of the level (which is 99 anyway).

What's the reasoning behind nerfing heavy shotguns? Having less ammo is already a sufficient drawback imo. Same with kodachis - they all deal less damage than a sword of the same level but they were kinda faster.

As for the heavy shotguns it's probably because of balancing so other shotguns have some sort of actual play other than being shooting dummies.

Why add cool down to certain bot commands. It was cool to spam it and float around the map, why steal my fun wtf.

This is what i love to see, Elo system not attached to a specific game mode.
Keep up the good work guys, People can finally grind for something !

For majority of the update awesome and thank you.. super excited to see some awesome changes. The only thing which I'm not a fan of is losing the ability to glitch at BP. Riding Boss Party was literally the only actual challenge questing provided and now it's no longer even possible. I spent a few hours the other day trying to do a solo 100% BP with barely even being able to get a kill or two. I get that we shouldn't be able to solo it, but I think the gatekeeper to BP being able to ride and do that glitch is what made it so much fun. Now literally no one even tries or attempts it because it just isn't worth the time. Even if you can't bring back the glitch then maybe have a maximum number of bosses that spawn initially based on number of players in the group. Solo should be 2-3, Duo +1 and so on so forth. I just wanna enjoy BP again whether its in a new form or its old form. Other changes are awesome though and the difficulty additions is cool for the questing although its disputable whether just increasing a bosses health actually adds any difficulty to the quest itself. Godlikes are awesome and can't wait to score one. ELO system is awesome and all around good changes. I just want the quest system to work again. The entire quest meta was essentially taken away in a heartbeat and left with an iffy system at best that no longer feeds that difficulty itch. Thanks for your work guys.

The rusty only tag does not impact the damage dealt by massives.

That's why you have 8 different shotguns that you can win by opening a lucky box. Try playing with one limitbreaker + psychobreaker or limitbreaker + god complex

The LB's are iconic, they never get old.

Yeah but nobody likes to play with 10 dmg sg’s , thats why i said we need this change , im not the only one who says this , all cw players are waiting for this moment , we dont need 10 dmg sgs , we need normal sgs from lucky boxes same as limit breakers .. its been a long time playing with the same sgs just because there is no alternative , sorry but just in tdms we play 10 dmg sgs , in cws we barely use them , hope u understood the point

First you wanted something new because you don't wanna stick with using LBs, so they added different variety of shotguns. Then now you complained about nobody would like to play with 10 dmg sgs. As far as I know, I've seen a lot of players using H and SH and didn't see them complaining about it.

Instead of complaining, why not learn to appreciate and have fun with different combination of shotguns?

You can't speak for everyone when you say "we dont need 10 dmg sgs", maybe you personally don't like them but I can say that I myself have been using a 10 dmg sg for a very long time and I do enjoy it. Some users also use 11 dmg sg in cws so again, speak for yourself.

Omma u play once per 1 month cw , i saw u using them , when i said we i meant the players who is playing cw everyday if u didnt realized all use lbs and rarely use 10 or 11 , im not asking to remove them logic.. but to play with lbs over 5 years its kinda weird ,u developed everything and the update was perfect as i said and appreciated , im not the only one who askinng about new sgs , i can bring u 15 ppl from cws to see when i say we it means we.

First of all, I'm not saying that your idea is not good, I wouldn't mind having more "skins" for limitbreakers if you can actually bring 15 users who cw to see what they say as you've stated above. All I'm saying is that you cannot say stuff like "we don't need 10 dmg sgs" because that's your OWN opinion, lots of users, users who cw as well, are using those sgs.

Secondly, just because you don't see me clanwaring on my main does not mean I do not clanwar, I have an alt account which I use for clanwars so get your facts straight and don't jump to conclusions just like that.

Thirdly, it doesn't matter whether someone is playing clanwar or not, all opinions are welcomed.

Clan wars isnt the only mode we have on this game.
And yes, I dont play cws anymore, so what? Questing is more fullfilling and challenging than playing against the likes of you.

Your logic is so flawed you don't even deserve a serious reply, probably lost too many cw's against users with 10 dmg sgs.

Exactly, why you all trying to ignore the idea this guy the one of the players who wants to grow up this server.
While the staff focusing at other things making "Gunz" Dead game, alot of new/old players just leaving cuz there is no PVP anymore, Dude Gunz is Compititive game you all have to accept that, you can just tell us that you're not accepting ppl anymore for trying grow up the server.
By adding new skins and new staff of normal"Delay950-1000" "dmg9" it will be pretty good, Even the Avatars/Clothes,The New Swords something unique of 329 delay (The Shura sword one of the oldest swords i can't understand why this sword at high delay like lol, ok lets say thats what u want to be at least add something seems to shura with normal delay"329".
but if you looking about adding 10+ dmgs to let ppl using it at "Garden TDM" it is Kinda dead idea for me.
This Text for all the Staff, you can see (100online player), 24 at trainning room,32 Garden Tdm,32 At Events sometimes, Others "AFKS" !!!!!!!!!!
How can new players love this game while others teaching them with wrong way, they only see Garden tdm, events , training room.
So Its really boring to play lb’s for 10 years, u have made very nice sgs instead of making one of them as a lucky box like the lb, u just putted all of them in shop in game while ppl who play with donor sgs are not even interested to go in shop and buy them because u made them look useless
So accept what those ppl Like #Nezo_pro2 trying to help and grow up this server.

I don't mind, but Limitbreakers are iconic. Those new skins would have to be pretty cool.

Some players reported some bugs regarding the ELO system. Those bugs will be fixed in the next patch.

I don't know how possible it is to fix but its really infuriating that I can only write like....literally 5 words in a whisper to someone with a lot of colors in their name or a generally long name.
for starters /r should not autocomplete to /whisper {name}, and ideally, when a whisper is detected it would allow the cap to increase past the 63 character limit...

Nice addition to have Females be able to YoYo. This is a bigger change than many players realise. So far it's been a fun update! Great work
