Freestyle GunZ: Infinity - Website & Forum
Freestylers,

The new forum style has been enabled and everyone can use it now.
Of course it is possible that you do not like the new style, you can scroll to the bottom of the page and select a previous style from the drop-down menu.

The following is a list of the new additions on top of what you were used to of the v7 FGunZ.net website.
Please private message me any bugs related to the site and I will get it fixed as soon as possible.

A couple of changes, such as country ranking and changes to the homepage, will be applied over the next few weeks.

Homepage
- Latest CW games
- Twitch.tv live stream / YouTube video
  - If you get approved as a FGunZ streamer, you can stream 2 hours a day and get 50 coins.
  - Note that you must stream 2 hours without interruption in order to be eligible for the 50 coins.
  - The YouTube video will change periodically.
- Live event timer of scheduled events
- Player highlight
Account
- Ticket system for support through fgunz.net, this will be the best way to get help from a staff member regarding FGunZ.
- Notifications
- Home
  - Convert event points to coins (golden members: *2 instead of *1.5 and ability to convert X amount)
  - Hide/display your country flag on profile page
  - View item purchase history
  - Request streamer status.
- Character
  - Privacy mode (makes it seem that your character does not exist at all on the website)
  - Delete old character
- Clan
  - Delete old clan names
Profile page
- Account level (XP of all your characters combined)
- Achievements (more achievements will be added)
  - The following achievements will have to be re-obtained: # of rebirths, # of won CW games.
- Verified badge, previously banned badge, streamer badge
- Counter for: comments, likes, page visits
- Like page
- Upload custom banner
- Character statistics
  - Up/Down arrow at your K/D ratio that compares your current K/D ratio with the one you had at Sunday of the previous week.
- Other characters that belong to this user.
- Setup stream/trailer
- Item showcase (show off special items)
- Media showcase (upload screenshots/replays here)
  - Additionally, people can comment on your uploaded media items.
- Profile comments
  - Child comments, block user, unblock user, delete comments
- Friends
  - Manage your friends here as well. You can delete/add friends through the website.
- Clan of user
- Some features can be set to only show to friends or no one at all.
Clan Page
- Clan statistics
- Recent clan matches
- Comments
  - Child comments, block user, unblock user, delete comments
- Set clan to private or public. (Private by default) Public allows people to join your clan through the website.
- Like page
- Clan member management for leaders. Allows leaders to promote/demote/kick/search members.
- Clan main line up. Allows the clean leader to select 4 members who are the main members of the clan to show off their names.
Luckybox
- Ability to select a specific lucky box in order to get a chance of one specific special item only.
  - The chance of obtaining a special item has not been changed.
- New special luckybox items: Limitbreaker X and Katana X.
- New cool luckybox open animation.
  - You can also turn the animation and sounds off.
- Opened lucky box manager
  - User friendly feature to redeem/gift items to other users
Rankings
- Weekly competition ranking.
  - Ability to see the top 25 of each competition type.
  - Ability to see your own stats.

Also noticed that some character profiles get redirected to the homepage. Rain had confirmed this himself.

This, the Facebook logo floats in the nowhere, instead of having "facebook" text on hover, either place the text right next to the icon or place it under Community tab (better option).

If you obtain the streamer status, you can stream 2 hours every day and get 50 days.

You can do it every day. So if you do it every day for 30 days, you will have 1500 coins.
Just keep in mind that other people can stream too and there's only 1 spot on the homepage.

Made the following changes lately:
- Fixed the 2 hour streaming reward issuance.
- Added clan emblem upload under clan management.
- Item of the day will now actually change item every day.
- Added checkout confirmation when you checkout your cart at the itemshop.
- When the widget opens after opening a lucky box, it will show up on top of the button to open a lucky box so you must close the widget first in order to avoid bugs/mistakes.

does the last one mean that it wont appear in random places compared to the ones after that, cause its kinda annoying to move your mouse to the close button every time u close a popup if you open multiple at once

The button to close that widget appears right on top of the button to open a lucky box so you can keep your mouse in the same place. It should not be possible to have multiple of those widgets open anymore.

Another couple changes:
- Your character page will now no longer show all of your other characters by default.
- When you view an item in the itemshop, it will show the minimum damage, accuracy % and minimum/maximum range.
- When you view an item in the itemshop, it will hide any stats that are not related to the item. For example a shotgun will not show +0HP/AP.
- Changed the text of the Discord link under the community menu item.
- Added a button at the account homepage to view your warnings and evidence.

Elite ranks are still displayed as gold members within sections (or at least on the Black Orange theme by Dave).

Also the request that I could have a shot at making a V8 version of the Black Orange theme by Dave since that forum theme/style is perfect for forum browsing.

- Fixed a bug with the function to delete old character names.
- When you view an item in the itemshop, colors in the description of items will now be parsed correctly and the reload time of weapons will be shown in seconds.
- Newlines and links will now be properly parsed in ticket replies.

This is great, i just have one concern.. i just downloaded FSG Infinity and well i tried to get on putting my Id and PW but i dont see any server to click on once i do that.. is the server down atm or is it just me that has that problem?. Help, ty.

Just you. Check your firewall and anti-virus incase they're blocking gunz.exe

Hide character is not broken. When you do toggle the privacy of your character on the character management page, it may take up to an hour before the cache is flushed. On the profile page, by default all other characters of a user are hidden.

Linking VIP accounts does not work. It would be a nice feature to have otherwise I expected to have to rebuy VIP for every account.

Not sure if this was changed since then but turned out the broken VIP I mentioned in the FG Oct29 update is just an extremely delayed VIP-link account. I mean I last tried to link it to my other account a week ago and it only effected me today. It does it's function, but the speed could use a big improvement.

If you go to https://fgunz.net, you should see a popup that asks to send notifications (some adblockers may block it, will also only work on Chrome, FireFox and Opera as far as I know).

This will be used very soon to send you notifications when an event is starting, when we've pushed an update, giveaways and other special announcements. This also works on Android phones.

Please make it easier to go to the forums from the main Website :(. Takes a bit for me to go to the forums, cause I always go to the website first. I could bookmark the forums for easy access, but that's all filled up with useful stuff already.

Though when using the website to go to the forums, the community button is far over to the right and sometimes trying to click on the forums makes the entire drop down menu go away from accidental miss.

Maybe I'm just being a lazy nub. :o.o

I've considered it, but don't deem it necessary with the notification system.
The new notification system will also work on Android phones if you go to fgunz.net and allow the notifications.
