Alright guys, higher staff wants us Mods to crack down on enforcing the forum rules and regulations.

This means we have to start being less easy-going.

I'm posting this to help you not get muted, infracted, suspended, or even permanently banned.

Try not to do the following: (RED means avoid at all costs because it's a very common mistake.)

-1-3 word posts I see these the most. We can infract you for each one of these. This is ONLY allowed in the introduction/goodbye section of the forum.
-Double posting
-Triple posting
-Off-topic posts
-Arguing with members or staff*See post #10 in this thread for more details.
-Flaming
-Useless threads
-Porn in the chatbox
-Making multiple accounts or sharing accounts

This is your warning card. Mods will not be so chill when it comes to these offenses anymore. But it's okay because if you've read this thread, you know what to avoid.

Apologies in advanced if you take any offense to this, but things need to improve.

When someone double posts it's a double post. :P It only gets edited when mods "Merge" both posts into one.

Sometimes the forum misbehave and you end up double posting.You think the first message didn't go thru and you you press Post Quick Reply again then you realized you double posted. Mistakes like that that = infraction? Cool

question when u say Arguing with members or staff.... can u plz clear it up a bit im confused.... can we state our opinion on the event and can we tell what we feel ? o.o or is that arguing?

No no Rash. You can ask any mod to merge a post for you if that happens, I'd be glad to. NOT EVERYTHING ON THAT LIST IS INFRACTABLE. They actually range from degrees of punishment. Double posting is not infractable anyways, just something to remember not to do. If it happens, then we fix it, not too big of a deal ya'know.

Yes Taylor, of course you can state an opinion or to a certain point even argue or debate on a subject. The type of arguing posted above is in a mean or hurtful nature. Maybe even trying to disagree and make a scene with a staff member after a decision is already made for the well-being of the community. This is not to say that you may not speak out against it though. Everyone has the right to at least stand up for wrongful actions or power abuse. This means don't flame or rage at them if something doesn't work out, basically.

Azn's right, when its double post its not a moderator its automatically merges into 1 post to prevent double or triple posting.

Your mood shouldn't have any affect on your work/job.

A lot of people will now get more infractions, warnings etc. This should absolutly minimize the spam posting, silly comments etc, gj :)

I think these forums are pretty clean if you compare them to other gaming forums. you have to keep in mind that this is mainly a gaming forum and not one about healthcare, this forum is populated with a lot of kids as well, can't really expect them to act like adults.

How it is supposed to be ^. Anyways, complain all you want people. Rules are rules, we've been letting stuff go but we're finally going to do our jobs right. No one said we're trying to take your fun away, we're trying to keep things civilized. No one said you had to be on the Forums anyways guys. If you don't like it, just go in-game and not on the Forums. There are less rules in-game anyways.

Btw, I've actually seen members leave because the Forums were "too chaotic" and "too immature" for them.
