The blog is back

Sup, just wanted to inform you that the blog is back.

We'll use it to inform you about stuff we're working on it before it gets added to the game. We can also use it as a platform to discuss stuff and improve before it gets implemented.

Let me start by giving you a sneak peak of what's to come in the next patch:

This also works in Quest and Survival.

There is some more stuff coming up for quests, like NPCs now dropping hp/ap/ammo in Scrider:

Another thing that's coming in the next patch are minor improvements to the hitbox:

If you look at the original, unmodified hitbox of GunZ (which we also use atm) (red area):

You will notice that the hitbox for the head is too small and only covers around 50% of the head, really only up to the nose. So as one of the minor improvements we fixed that in the upcoming patch for the hitbox to cover the complete head. Make things more consistent, you know.

Good job, but as I said in the update thread I believe scrider npcs should not give handouts. For being the hardest quest in the game, please make it challenging requiring 4 players to complete while requiring items such as ammo and meds to survive, and the need to choose between them.

The drops don't make him much easier at all, it still takes 4 players to beat him, and by walking towards the drops you risk losing more health than you gain by picking up hp/ap/ammo. They were necessary for him to be beatable in higher difficulties though.

That quest difficulty will be fun, all i ask is if higher difficulty will increase chances of higher lvl and quality guns and/or multiple drop chests

Harder quest will give better drops (quality guns) and higher difficulty will increase chances of higher rarity and level.

I can't wait for test the new difficult on quests. I'll be giving my feedback (if needed) as always on it.
