Gender-based Cosmetic Box

Hello,

So I decided to try out the Cosmetic Box feature just now, and in 4 attempts I recieved 3 female items and 1 male item. However, I play on just 1 character, which is male. I looked at the list of items, and found out only 26 of the 122 items are for male. That means there's only a 1/5 chance that I'll get an item that I'll actually be able to use.

With such incredible low odds, I'm hoping there can be a filter added so people can choose whether they want to have a chance at items aimed at male, female or both genders.

But it is the year 2019.


You are right though, cannot use female items on males so gender based boxes would be a nice change.

Plus, make accessories for both gender.
Still don't understand why Mario head is only for female lol

im assuming that it’s because the male and female characters are 2 different entities and framed completely differently (hence male and female characters having different movements) so my guess would be some individual items per say would have to be readjusted to female/male characters. and if that’s the case, x1000 more work.

but this could be very very wrong

You are correct.
There are two different 'skeletons' to my knowledge (excluding npc), of which both have different values in height and width.
For some parts it should not be too hard to make a counter-gender item of it like the mentioned Mario head, usually requires a bit of scaling so it would connect to the body properly without having an empty space (the mentioned different values above).
