The movements after the new update

Hello guys me and my friends played in the server today after the update the server felt very weird i will have to talk about few points that i realized and not only me also my friends
1.the char doesnt move in rs walk and the char feel instead of moving like sliding and that doesnt fit us when our style used to the old thing
2.the char head is not always down but in the majority of times we feel like it (its like the char neck is broken )
3.the game is not smooth as it was before the update
4.in clan war there is drop of gunz like spray and other things like quest its bug and the player step on it he can take the gun like rocket or something it's like the quest

And what are you trying to suggest us ?

i played freestyle gunz for 4 years it was the best game before the new update.
after the new update my game is slower my movemnts is weird .. i really cant play!

the movements were smoother and better before,hope u guys can do smth and return it as how it was be4
and in cws some shotguns are dropped from the sky or idk its like a mode in tdm .. maybe it would be a good thing if u do it like other mode of cws same as u did with gladiator cws..

It will be fixed soon in upcoming update. The admins are aware of the bug happening in town and garden maps.

When it comes to addition of new features, similar to the free turning before/after a wallrun and during a bounce, the ability for players to enable/disable, in my opinion, is a must have.
Changes like the free neck movement (but not limited to), which are things the players have been getting used to for years, has to be considered heavily before changes are made that impact everyone without being toggle-able. This could also apply for the tick rate thing if such a thing was possible to enable per-player, but i dont think it would be too easy to do.

You guys just added the less important stuff.. you forgot to add new skins, new items, New Shotguns..!!!!!!
( At least new swords seems to tournament swords hard to get but fun to play) ( new limit breaker )..!!

I havent played the game after the update, but the movement before the update is definitely not smooth. I won't name any servers but littarely every other server out there has smoother movements. The movements on this server are so buggy and it feels like it's litteraly missing frames or some shit.

Yes adding skins to the game is more important than fixing the actual game! XD!!

I think the main problem with the current update that most of the cwers / oldgens are still used to aiming the are between the feet - special area since it was recommended like a decade ago so most of the time it feels like the character is looking down because we're actually looking/aiming down. I think the best idea is to make it toggable even though lately it feels like most of the suggestions end up with "make it toggable".

For me the game still feels smooth but I guess this is individual.

i dont understand why all the admins stand with the eventers like they control the game each update and also alot of clan wars players left the game because of that in my opnion staff think that the eventers revive the game but its the oppesite the only thing they know is just hide and seek every body is against the cw players and that what kills the game

Without the cwers the server will just die..
when u add stuff like this the server gonna die .
The Event players/ tdm garden players/ Training players/ Quester, they don't have any idea what Cwers talking about because they used to play another less important competitive mode
One day you all gonna realize that the cw players the only players who gonna grow up the server...

Making the movements smoother wasn't an idea from a "Event player/ tdm garden player/ Training player/ Quester". Making it smoother will obviously make it more competitive. They're litteraly trying to fix the game up. No game can stay the same forever in order to get players, it needs improvements

I only explained what's the issue IN MY OPINION and said that I THINK the solution is to make it toggable so you get to choose how to play and you will be able to control whether you want it to stay this way or you want it to be how it was before the update, same goes to one who replied above you.

I'm not the one who's taking decisions for you and I'm free to post my opinion just like any other user whether you like it or not. I actually do not stand with the "eventers" this time, I said that I think it should be toggable so those who dislike it will be able to reverse it to the way it was before.

I played gunz like 6 hr i couldnt able play its not smooth anymore its so weird and ugly as ****.
I feel game get crashed in fking 16 players room before i was able play 32 players room so smooth last thing FPS getting freeze for 1 or 2 sec when i go room out and i feel sudden decrease fps in game when play with enemys this made rage so bad tonight.. sunday is my day almost all day i play i feel so bad tonight. I Prefer the 1.5 Version movements.

This thread has become a shit-show in no time, lmao. Feels like y'all don't really have a valid point in your claims. Try to base your claims with videos or something because so far many players including myself got to play some games after the release of the new update, and none of us is facing any issues like the ones you're complaining about.

To me personally, the game feels smoother comparing to weeks ago before the release of the update & I like this. The DEV's/Admins did a phenomenal job this time that cannot be doubted imo.

OT: After carefully testing out the movement in FGunZ, I can confirm that the movement is smooth.
As my friend chingchong pointed out, with all due respect, I believe you guys have a mild case of "brain-lag".

The movement is smoother, u can litteraly see more, which is probably overloading ur average eyes. But ur basically still moving as fast as before. No changes there. However u can see the opponents movements way better.

There are some issues with the ass and head movement according to some players. This could be a toggle future or something. The ass isn't moving from left to right when ur walking. People seem to keep looking at their characters asses quite often i think.

i tried just now the update, who's saying the movements are bad and not smooth is just dumb, if someone did try other servers know dat fgunz before this update movements were heavy as ****, now is very good, i like it, keep it up mcsic

I spoke with these guys ingame and there was a misunderstanding. According to them it's the version that they don't like. They want to revert it back to the older version due to all the bugs and also the ass and head movement / sliding(?). They feel like it's the same as the other server now with the ladder system (im not gonna say the name of it).

The smoothness/tickrate or however they changed it is a good thing in my opinion, but they included that as well since someone didn't like it.

Their main point of this thread is to suggest reverting the version back, but keep the smoothness of the movements. Would this be possible? They think it will take too long to add all the toggle functions for all the small problems/changes.

I prefer this actually, the head/ass not moving so retardedly.

There is an upcoming update in a few minutes to fix some bugs.

Later, I will make the head/lower body movement toggleable in options, but that is planned for an update in ~2 weeks (starting my vacation today, so I won't be here for almost 2 weeks).

What y'all even talking about? Why do you look at your character model's ass while aiming? I've been liking the update so far, the movement's buttery smooth and the damage information is sick as hell. Great job devs!

I can't do that right now. The upcoming update is already in the process of getting whitelisted by Microsoft, if I do any changes to it now, this will extend the process by hours, and I don't have that time today. I'd rather release the update now within a few minutes and add your toggleable option later.

It could frankly just be me, and while it might be cool looking for side to side reloadshotting as is frequently done in gun play, it makes no sense from a physical/viable movement point of view. it just looks wrong/floaty.

It does, but the players are used to another way of playing and we are talking about years, that radical change from one day to the next, many of them see the change very fatal.

They are also fairly sensitive to these kind of changes, but being primarily guns usage, it will take longer to notice and feel that difference, but inevitably, they will. Some players will follow them wanting to play with the stronger players, usually a significant amount of people but its not the end of the world. But that is even more players gone. At this point it will be about 40 players down. It will be noticeable, but not a big deal... right? Maybe. The players who left will likely be the ones who played the game at some sort of competitive level. What you have left are some casual players. Most likely not new players, as most new players seem to quit the game in 2 days or less. Those players will see the population waning, and they will see players they knew gone. Eventually, they'll just get bored and also quit, or try to find another server to play on with more interesting things or people. That will probably go on over a long period of time, like a year, while the other things happened much faster. It will continue until you have a small dedicated player base of around 20-30 players. If your server survives long enough, they will likely be around for a few years. DG was a great example of that! Also a great example of changing the game at its core and the effects it had on the community they had built up. But its not just DG. Tick rate changes don't break the game, they improve the game if done correctly, and I think we've done that correctly and probably 90% of the community agrees with this patch. Not sure if you played the game, or only noticed glad recoil being broken and decided to make this post. But let me inform you that glad recoil being broken is a very specific bug, unrelated to the tick rate changes, and we've already fixed it for the upcoming patch. So that is nothing to worry about.

Regarding servers dying with higher tick rates: Uh oh. We've been here since 2007. We've seen 20+ private GunZ servers (probably more like 30+) come and go. With and without tick rate changes, they've done all kinds of things, some stayed completely vanilla, it doesn't matter, they died. Most servers have died while we're here. Tick rate is not a problem and I disagree with your bold assumption that we're going to die due to tick rate changes. All servers died at some point, except for us, and we've even had a higher tick rate a few years ago. We've been here for 15 years and we're not planning to leave anytime soon. yeah competitive players will leave because players look like they are actually dashing instead of teleporting, makes a lot of sense.
