One thing to consider here is how the damage is balanced around the existing swords and katanas. Perhaps the scaling of the large swords makes it such that the rusty equivalent is balanced against the rusty katana, but the donation largesword has damage thats balanced around Katana X already. In this case, the damage numbers should be tweaked a little bit.
Generally speaking, how do those same players that have picked up largeswords feel about the weapon in the first place? In my limited experience playing after the update all I've seen were people who used them purely ironically and not as a means to seriously play with, atleast in duel rooms and not deathmatch rooms. More importantly, how do people facing enemies using the largeswords feel? Is there actual counter play or would they consider largeswords to be too weak to be a challenge?
This sounds like something that is interesting to implement, not to mention there seems to be avid supporters of the use of large swords. Will be moving this thread to To be added later.Quote:
