If a player reaches 5000 kills, he will 50 coins for every additional 1000 kills.
The system should be more rewardable for kills. It shouldn't be a reason to stop playing on the specific character because the player already got many kills and probably going to win the 100 coins.
What reason should players receive coins after reaching x amount of kills in a week? The idea of weekly competition is to be the very best, if you want the 100 coins in the end of the week. Sometimes that means getting 1000 kills, other times it would be 10000. Setting up a number (like 5000) only means players will strive for that number regardless of the game state (activity of turbo rooms).
I also disagree with this because the only players who realistically fall into the category of top kills are those who spend a large amount of time in turbo rooms, not doing much besides spamming their weapons. This would just enable those players to literally farm thousands of coins by just playing in those rooms which isn't very healthy for the game imo.
Players who want to get the most kills should get more coins. If the player at the first place, he will get 100 coins for winning the weekly, and if he reaches more than 5000 kills, he will get 50 coins on every 1000 more kills.
Because if the player is in the first place with 10000 and the second place is with 3000, why the player in the first place should try to get more kills if he already got many.
If players strive to get 5000 kills, it shouldn't be a problem because right now, no one even got 3000 kills and the top 5 players playing on a turbo room.
What's wrong with that the players will fall into that category of the top kills? its like players that playing clan wars. You said, "not doing much besides spamming their weapons" That's not that easy to get 5000 kills, and it won't enable players to farm thousands of coins. If you get 10000 kills and you in the first place, you will get 100+250 coins, a total of 350 coins.
Its the same as clan wars, and you can get even more, 500-1000 clan wars points is 125-200 coins by playing, and if the player has the most clan war played and most clan war points is 200 coins, a total of 400 coins, and if the clan is on the first place is 500 coins with a total of 900 coins.
Playing clan wars and obtaining clan points is not easy, only a handful of players get to high points gained for their clan.Quote:

If this suggestion instead means "give the winner of the weekly competition in the kills category more weekly coins based on how good they did in that week", I can argue the same for almost every other category, because all of those require time and effort, not only to be first place, but to keep going after that.
And with that argument, I think there's enough ways to get coins in the game (100 a week is still a lot, especially now that you dont need 10000 kills to be first place), so I don't support this suggestion.
Moving this over to Declined. We already provide many ways for people to earn coins and considering that the last winner for the kills category had 8k+ kills adding this suggestion would make this category get the initial 100 coins plus an additional 150 coins which is too much...
