FGunZ Update // 09 APR 2020

Problems updating?
Add Gunz.exe and Launcher.exe (or the FGunZ folder) to the exception list of your anti-virus software and make sure to run the Launcher as Administrator!

Hey Freestylers,

the next update is here!

FGUNZ UPDATE // 09 APRIL 2020

• Disabled elements in [GLAD] and Gladiator CW
• Katana Rebalance: the gap between the weakest (Rusty Sword) and the strongest sword (Katana X) has been decreased to even the playing field (16-29 dmg -> 24-29 dmg)
• Buffed Daggers
• Rebalanced Pills and Vials
• Code cleanup (bugfixes & crashfixes)
• Removed artificial sword slash effect delay -> Game feels much more responsive
• Gladiator CW change: If time runs out, the roundwinner is decided by most team damage (to avoid stalling)
• Replaced crosshair type 4 and 5 because I don't think anyone really used them (if you did, you can download them here and add them as custom crosshair: Old Type 4, Old Type 5)
• Added new dynamic crosshairs (type 6 - 10) which change their size using the accuracy of your currently selected weapon
• You can now have up to 10 custom crosshairs, just name them like this: crosshair.png, crosshair2.png, crosshair3.png, crosshair4.png, crosshair5.png, crosshair6.png, crosshair7.png, crosshair8.png, crosshair9.png, crosshair10.png
• Added custom crosshair color option which uses HEX color code & 2 buttons allowing you to: D) set the color to default or R) generate a new random color
• Note: For those that would like to use crosshair color in combination with custom crosshairs: It works best with white and greyscale crosshairs (uncolored) -- Otherwise you can always click the 'D' button and use your custom crosshair the way it is
• Added new shortcuts you can use ingame to inform others:
• :online: (outputs the time since you started FGunZ)
• :time: (outputs your current local time)
• :fps: (outputs your fps)
• :sens: (outputs your mouse sensitivity)
• :color: (outputs your custom crosshair color)
• New command for staff (/clearlobby) allowing them to clear the lobby chat

Yes. The artificial delay until the effect appears when you slash a wall for example.

Idk if the code cleanup fixed that. Anyhow I didn't want to postpone this update further. If it's not fixed yet, it will be worked on and fixed in future. Just let me know.

Is there a possibility that u guys can put the Firethorn and Icethorn sets back in the bounty shop? I remembered I used this set a lot in v7 and I miss it to this day.

I could only find 2 bad Firethorn stock photo images and not even 1 IceThorn image, but this is how it kinda looks like;

Vials are... fine. They are not that good in competitive play (CW), but are at least usable now, they are fun to play with in TDM, so that's cool by me, and from what I understand, you guys don't really want to bring back the old pills/vials due to possible meta change, so these stats are fine by me, but please make pills usable too!

Pills are still very underwhelming, the delay is still huge. I know we suggested 1000, but please just take a look at what they were before and set the delay to that, I'm guessing 200/400 is the desired delay. They are 5 * 15, which is pretty bad, but fine for TDMs so cool by me so long as the delay gets adjusted. The fun of pills was being able to spam them, currently they are 5 clip meds with lesser heal.

i don't think this is needed tbh. Imo Pills are fine as they are right now.

Most new crosshairs are pretty cool. Not something I'd use but the colouring option is really good (sadly it doesn't work so well on custom crosshairs, but that's a given). I'd like to see a disable crosshair option, which would effectively give the 'no crosshair' effect, would be a really good addition IMO

Also please fix chat symbols in @chatroom

Hey im just dropping by to say you guys are doing a great job pushing out these updates. it feels nostalgic as **** seeing that player count at 150. hopefully that'll keep rising up :)

We had to wait for Microsoft to fix something on their end so we can valid our updates once more.
Give it some time and be happy we are adding new content, features and fixing things.
