Well its basiclly kinda easy to do I guess, whenever event is hosted, change discord message format to ->
An in-game event is about to start! Join us! @Events
and making a channel that you can gain the role by clicking a reaction, so we get mention when event is hosted.
and because CWs is dead, adding that for CW would be nice aswell.

I don't understand why it's a terrible idea, it's your own decision whether you want to have that role or not, if you don't want that role then nothing would change for you. Idk if it's necessary tho
It's a nice idea as long as you decide whether you want it or not.
With that being said, it's definitely unnecessary.
You get the role if you decided, by clicking reaction in other chat channel as I said, its in your hands if you wanna get mentioned or not.
The forums already has this, kind of, if you add "Events" or "Event" to ur ping notifications in the chatbox it's basically the same, the only thing you need is to have Freestylersworld.com open I think.
